I purchased this DUOVIO Cooling Gel to enhance with IPL Hair Removal experience. I was originally getting burned, as the IPL device said “1 minute” for face. I thought that I should hold the device on the same spot for 1 minute 🤷♀️. I found a video for another device that showed me the correct way to use my IPL Hair Removal System (short bursts and moving on). In the interim of being disappointed in my original experiences, I had ordered this DUOVIO IPL Cooling Gel, through Amazon. I needed to look up how to use the IPL Cooling gel. There was no readable instructions on the container or enclosed, telling me when (before or after), or how much to use. I was able to read more about IPL Cooling Gel. The correct way to use the IPL cooling gel is to apply a small amount (1/2-1 tsp) depending upon the area your removing the unwanted hair from, BEFORE you use the IPL device. This helps the laser to permeate to the root. To prevent burning, I also apply a small amount (1/2-1 tsp) AFTER I’m done, to help cool the areas, in addition to my IPL’s cooling function. I’ve had NO burning since! The DUOVIO Cooling Gel has helped tremendously! My treatments are now working and my comfort level during and after, is at 100%.

I wanted to use this with my facial tool, (Nuface). This gel is sticky and doesn’t seem to allow for my tool to work as it should. I’ve tried it for a month and I’m losing the results I used to get from my tool. This product is not compatible with my facial tool.
