I like these shoes. They are right on size-wise and appear to be well-constructed. They are warmer than most types of shoes like this that I have tried. The color is great. The speed lacing is great. They are comfortable right out of the box. The only thing I don't love is the tread. It is very aggressive (?) - it has a rough tread that loves to load up on mud. The mud stays in there until you scrape it out. Once the mud fills in the tread the traction is severely impaired. This is a problem with a lot of hiking boots or shoes. If only someone could make a self-cleaning tread then we'd have a definite 5 star shoe. ... show more

I have a 15 narrow foot. Dunham is the only shoe I have been able to buy without having to purchase a custom shoe for a narrow option. I wear them on a daily basis. I am not really sure how many pairs I have bought over the years, but they are pretty much the only option I have. On a good note, I really like the way they look as well! Thank you for the only option for a perfect fit I have. Please never stop making them. I am 61 years old today and have battled since I was 14 years old to find shoes that fit well! ... show more

    • Decent boots for the price
These boots are good for the price; however, the sole lacks some sturdiness and support, compared to more expensive boots. I use mine for warm weather, when they are superior to sandals for hiking and walking.

    • Same fit as the same Dunham boot I purchased 5 years ago!

All the other boots I have purchased in the last 2 or 3 years seem to have shrunk. My foot is 7.5 4E and I have to buy at least an 8 wide now to get a proper fit. These boots fit perfectly! Couldn't be happier!

Living in Japan, I have had trouble finding a size 10 4E width shoe. The Dunham Cloud Mid-cut boot has fit well right from the start. I've owned it for a year of walking on mostly hard surfaced roads and it shows minimal wear. It has held up well and stayed supportive and comfortable.
