These are good looking stools and easy to assemble. However, if you pick it up the seat comes off and the base, do not stay connected, and base does not have the weight for not tipping easily. Also the stability of the chairs are not what I expected. We are not large people, I would be concerned for the individual that weighs upwards to 300lb or more sitting or even leaning backwards as the stability would tip you over.
