I received two dumbbells as shown in the picture. Great condition, hardly any marks or scratches. I'm definitely a weakling because the 12 lb dumbbells feel more like 20 lbs. I can't wait to use them for about three weeks intermittently before I let them collect dust.

Not much to say They are pink 1 pound handweights. They are not slippery, even if your hands get a bit sweaty. They are sturdy and seem durable so far (had them for several months now and use them regularly)

I ordered these to add to my "collection" of random sets of dumbbells. I ordered the pair of 12 lb dumbbells and they arrived in a very efficiently packed and padded box. I was pleased with how well they were packed, especially since I had that concern due to the couple of reviewers who had issues with their weights arriving in a damaged box, or in some way damaged. My weights were perfectly packaged and undamaged. I also saw some comments regarding the smell of the weights. They don't smell, nor do they have any funky odors of any kind. Just a very slight "normal" smell if you put your nose right up against it of a light vinyl tinge. As far as how accurate they weigh: first picture shows that together they weigh exactly 24 lbs according to my relatively new digital scale. I also weighed them individually and they weighed exactly 12 lbs each. The size of the head at the ends is just a tad larger than some may expect, as you can see in the second pictured where I put one between an 8 lb and a 15 lb weight. The reason for the head possibly seeming a bit larger than "some" my expect is because they are not as long as some others. You have to get the full 12 lbs in there somehow along with the vinyl covee, either through larger head or longer axis. So it's strictly a personal, subjective, choice as to whether you want it half an inch longer with a smaller head, or vice versa. These are very well built overall. The plastic coating is nice and thick and I feel very confident they are going to last a very long time if you take care of them and don't bang them against sharp objects. Recently was diagnosed with arthritis in my shoulder. At physical therapy they had me using a one pound weight. While I have 2 and 3 pound weights at home, I decided to buy one pounds so I can continue with my at home exercising program. These weights fit the hand perfectly and don’t slip.

I am pleased with these dumbells. They all do basically the same thing so the only real area to review is fit and comfort. They are easy to clean and a co.fortable fit. The only improvement I could think of is if they weren't quite as slippery when I sweat and my hands get moist. The ones with the cushion like covering would make a better grip but they could harbor germs so I guess it co.es down to personal preference. ... show more
