Just got it set up but have not riden in it yet. Protection appears to be solid. Highly doubt the material would hold up to asphalt. However, when it's 95* degrees out this would be 100% better than a regular shirt. Fit is snug and runs small. Order a size up. I am 6'1" 200lbs and the 2XL/3XL is a snug perfect fit. L-XL barely fits my 10 year old son. First off. It's 3 sizes too small. I don't know if this is designed for children for the oompa loompas off of charlie's chocolate factory or off of the smallest group of people you've ever met. But it's definitely not for an adult. If you normally wear a large extra large, I would order the biggest size you can get. Second, It comes with no pads. It talks about having removable pads. It shows pictures of pads, these little orange pads. It comes with none of that. It is just the shirt. There are holes in the shirt where the pads go. But basically, you're paying a $100 for an under armor t-shirt and that's it. No padding, the important part they left out. Convenient isnt it. You just have the shirt. It's like buying shoes and all you get is the box and no shoes. Listen to the main page that says frequently returned item due to size. That is 1000% accurate. Do not order this. If you are over 6 feet tall, do not order this. If you weigh more than two hundred and ten pounds, it will fit you like a belly shirt. If you can even get it zipped ... show more

I changed my review from 2 star for figment to 5 star. The company reached out to address the size issues and assures me they are addressing the incorrect sizing. They also sent out a 2XL I have not tried on yet but the quality of the actual product if you but at least a size or two larger than you normally wear, then it’s a great product. Ordered large XL and I am not overweight. 5 11 and 165ibs. I could not zip up the front it was so tight. Terrible sizing. Returned it. Overall it looked like good quality. Just wish they could figure out the sizing ... show more

I wanted something lightweight for adv riding on mountain forest roads in the summer. I had previously ordered "DUHAN Motorcycle Jacket Men CE Level 2 Body Armor Jacket Spine Chest Protection Gear for Motorcross MTB ATV Dirt Bike Racing" and that jacket just did not fit right and I couldn't get the pads where they needed to be. Also the forearm straps were too small that they impacted blood flow to my hands at their loosest setting. This shirt is exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight, very breathable, and chest pads included. Now I don't have to wear my heavy coat on those slow mountain rides when it's 80* plus. There is retention silicone beading on the bottom hem of the shirt that helps it from creeping up. That was a nice surprise. The only downside is that this is padding only, not abrasion resistance. If you were planning on only wearing this on asphalt riding, you'll likely not have as much protection as you'd want. But this fits small enough that you can easily add your own abraision resistant layer on top. I have a form fitting hoodie that I tested wearing on top of this and it fit no problem. ... show more
