I bought this armor because I took up EUC riding, and needed some good protection... Pros - This is Level 2 protection, the pads are not bad, the hard plastic seems to be durable enough for light crashes or scams, the mesh inside makes for good air flow, and the the fit is nice and snug, the red accents really make this look cool, its a head turner, The zipper is not bad, I have had this for over 2 years, and so far no problems with it, or any type of fraying. Cons - The straps on the shoulders and other areas get loose so easy, that could cause an issue if you fall, there is basically no padding in the armor itself, I have put bra inserts in there to make it more comfortable, so that may be something you will want to do if purchasing this. Recommend - I would recommend this armor for those riding PEVs, Dirt bikes, and if you want motorcycles... But I would go with level 3 gear if you are riding hard... I will give it a thumbs up after 2 years of use! ... show more

I sized exactly into the small/medium maximums. Bought the large/XL. It did fit a little big however the straps are able to be adjusted and it fits snug and comfortable now. Lots of CE armor in the right spots more than my leather jacket and appropriate for the setup. When putting on the armor, I funnel my arm in by pushing on the elbow pad. FYI if you're a size XL in Shirts and Hoodies and YOU DON'T PLAN ON LOSING WEIGHT, get an XXL. It fits tight as an XL but I'm dropping some weight so it helps but it still creates a FUPA when you have the belt tightened for the backstrap.

I bought this and an oversized MX Jersey, on a whim, ..during a heatwave. It works. It fits exactly how you imagine it would, the elbow pads form to your body well and the strapping really locks them down. The back pad feels amazing, hugs your spine, I have some confidence that it would take some of the sting off a dump. However, the chest pads feel too rigid; maybe that is by design, though, I don't know. Highly recommended. It fits better than most jackets. It fits under your normal clothes. ... show more

Overall, good product. Fits well as a Small. I have a 41inch chest and 33in waist. Fit is good. The material where the hands go in has begun to tear, slightly, after only a few weeks of use. If it were a few months, I'd argue it could be overuse, given how much I wear it. But a few weeks indicates it's not the best material for constant wear. The material is also very thin, I recommend wearing something hardier underneath. If you go down in this, the pads will be the only real protection you have from impacts and road rash. All other areas will probably rip, burn up and leave your skin open to the road after a few feet of scraping. I wear it, it's good for what it is, but for me, not worth a $100. At most, pay $50ish and buy something more protective to go under or over it. Edit: Company provided a large refund for the trouble. ... show more

I bought this for an upcoming adv motorcycle trip. Lots of unknown mountain roads with potential down trees, washouts, shale rock and lots of potential crashes. I'm upgrading to armor instead of outerwear with armor built in. This looked like a good alternative to more expensive brands without compromise of quality. When it arrived, it was clear it was actually a good alternative. Fit and finish and pad quality is very nice. I have no doubt it would provide the advertised protection. For me, the fit was slightly off. The shoulder pads were too forward, even after adjusting the straps to move them rearward. Probably my body shape (slightly out of shape), but also seemed more road biased with protection forward. I don't necessarily have Popeye forearms but they are probably bigger than average for the size I ordered. The forearm straps were too tight at the loosest setting. This meant potentially folding over on the Velcro part which would have added bulk. My intent was to wear this under a jersey and save a coat for cold. Thats definitely doable, you'd just have to size up your coat as expected. For me the fit didn't seem like it would work, even upsizing to the next size. For a more slender shape, I'm sure it would be fine. I'm not round, just bulky. Overall, if you're considering it, check the photos in the reviews. Others have done a good job modeling. It might work very well for you. I wanted to like it because it really felt like quality. I'm considering other products from thia company as a result. ... show more
