I needed a nice umbrella as a gift for a travel package. The duck handle is really cute and a nice quality. It’s very compact and I already know she’ll love it. I love the color, its bright and cheery for a raining day. It is also a safety color and I like that too. She will love, I'm sure.

The only thing that would make this Duck Umbrella by Vidvoom more charming is if it made a quacking noise to accompany the rain. But that's not really necessary since this adorable duck umbrella does not need any sounds to draw attention. I've no idea who figured out that a duck head complete with a bill would be so comfortable for a human hand to grasp, but kudos to them! I cannot imagine a more perfect umbrella for where I live, as it does tend to rain for several months straight. This is not a large umbrella, it will fit in a purse and is adequate for one person. The cute wooden duck head is well executed with his little eyes and yellow beak. He (she?) is heavily lacquered so as not to be bothered by the rain. Mr, Ms or Mrs Duck is not without issues though. Opening up this umbrella is not the smoothest operation and closing it is a bit more difficult. I do like that there is an actual button you need to press for release before opening or closing. The umbrella rod is in three parts and each time you slide the umbrella past two of them it sticks. So it's not the smoothest function, but I'm guessing it will work itself out with time. The umbrella will keep the rain off you but it is not super sturdy, so best to not use it when there's more than a strong breeze. Another thing I noticed is that when you push the umbrella all the way up it locks into place open. So as long as it is facing up it will stay locked. But if you set it upside down on the ground it releases, and could close up. Not a "Danger Will Robinson" situation, just something to be aware of. All said and done I am perfectly happy with my ducky umbrella and now waiting for rain with anticipation. While waiting I need this time to think up a good duck song for when we have our first outing together. If you haven't surmised, I hardily recommend this delightful umbrella!

Not only is this practical, it's also adorable! I love that it easily folds down to a very manageable size for storage. It's not that heavy, either, so letting it dangle on your wrist by its strap isn't awkward. What i really love is the bright, cheerful look to it. It does its job of keeping the rain off with a perfect arch. The handle is both sturdy and whimsical. This is an excellent umbrella at a great price.
