Buttons don’t work in game
Controller works on the home screen. All buttons. But when you open a game, the buttons WILL NOT work. The home button will work, but no other buttons will. If you reset while the game is running, it will start working. But that’s pain. Very disappointed for something so very expensive.

Works perfectly — requires a controller re-initialization workaround
I wanted to leave this review because I almost returned this controller thinking it was defective — but it turned out to be a PS5 controller initialization bug, not a hardware issue. Out of the box, the controller looked brand new and all buttons worked in the PS5 menus. However, in some games: •“Press Start / X” wouldn’t register unless another controller was used first •R2 behaved inconsistently in a few titles •Adaptive triggers worked in some games but not others Important: The controller passed all hardware tests: •Worked perfectly in PS5 menus •Worked perfectly in Astro’s Playroom •Worked perfectly in Horizon Forbidden West •Passed Android controller tests and emulators with no issues The Fix / Workaround (THIS IS THE KEY) What fixed everything permanently was forcing the PS5 to fully re-initialize controller assignments: Method that worked for me: •Launch a local 2-player game (Aaero 2 worked for me) •Assign Player 2 / second controller •Exit and return to single-player After doing this: •Start/X worked immediately in all games •R2 behaved normally •Adaptive triggers worked correctly •Even games that previously had issues worked fine This appears to reset Player 1 priority and clear cached controller state on the PS5. Final Thoughts The controller itself was not defective — this is a rare PS5 software/controller state issue that can affect refurbished or newly paired DualSense controllers (including limited editions). After the reset, the controller has worked perfectly. If you experience similar issues, try the workaround before returning it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (for the controller — minus one star only if you don’t want to deal with the workaround)

Cam renewed so it's not really a big issue, but it did have a tiny scratch or two on the white parts of the handles. Overall works great, long battery life and every button works.

Don’t buy. Highly overpriced, buttons don’t work and keeps turning off by itself. Very disappointed, this was a gift for my son. Avoid buying
