They are not blackout, but it darkness room enough for sleeping. Insulation is great, daughter room is on sunny side and all the heat is blocked. They should be steamed after washing a bit, but they are now wrinkle a lot.

(Taupe) Amazing quality especially for the price. Curtains black out super well. Soft and high quality fabric. We ended up getting a second set for our bedroom. They do have wrinkles from packaging but if you steam after installation they look amazing.

First I love the color. Which is why I picked it, it matched perfectly! The material is not as heavy as I thought it would be but does keep the light out when I want it to and helps with drafty old windows. Very functional. I have over hang as I wanted to make the room feel bigger so went for a drop look where it piles on the floor a bit. The material has not wrinkled or anything. So it keeps the clean lines perfectly. I did not notice any odd smells when I received it which for me is a plus Hanging was very easy to do. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is the hanging is a nylon which does make me nervous especially when opening them frequently but it has not broken. Even when my cat tugged it. (She tried to sleep on the extra on the floor) I think if they added some reinforcement there the product itself would be unmatched. Over all for the price point and bringing beauty to your space definitely recommend.

We have a 10’ French door in a bedrom that faces East and our Driveway. These Drapes are absolutely wonderful. The material is soft. They are blackout without having that awful white material facing the exterior. It gives the door a very dramatic look. Would never have thought I could have found this quality for the price.

They are great at blocking out all the light. They are very thick and have a good weight to them. They did have wrinkles in them when taking them out of the package, but I steamed them once, a year ago, and I just moved and I didn't have to restart them, even though I folded them up. They are so nice, my room ended up buying the same ones. My boyfriend also said that he's had many different blackout curtains and they've never been this good. He said they're way too dangerous lol, so he keeps one of them cracked, because you will wake up and not have any clue what time it is.

The color appears to be the same as the pictures. These are heavy curtains and thick enough for our needs. Also very attractive. They are not blackout but sure are close. They let in minimal light and keep the house cool. I did not use the back tabs because they're just thin pieces of thread. They glide with ease and are the perfect length and width. I also prefer the white lining on the back.
