This is a pretty good beginner helmet, and a good price point so if you just need an extra helmet for the occasional passenger this is an OK choice. I have used cheap helmets and really expensive ones and this one is not one you will want to wear for years, and years. It will be a good starting point, but the cushions are very stiff and have not broken in yet. It almost feels more like a Styrofoam instead of memory foam or other material. The shell feels thin, but sturdy enough to add the protection you need for a small fender bender. Personally I won't be wearing it anymore, but I will hold onto it for the occasional passenger or end up throwing it in with one of my project bikes when I get them running.

I needed a versatile helmet, what I mean is for on the public streets and off road. It has a clear shield and integrated pop down tinted lens for sunny days, lots of padding in the sides and very lightweight . I take a large or XL size helmet and this fit snug on my head. I’m going to let a passenger ride on my motorcycle and wear this if they usually wears a medium size. Only thing I’d like to add is it arrived with a “manufacturing smells” and I put it on my back porch to air out.

Great full face helmet. It fits well and has an easy to grip release on the chin strap. The inside material is soft and comfortable causing no pressure spots or irritation. I have really long hair and it doesn't create a knot in the back of my head like some other helmets have when i have it in a pony tail. The visor and tinted visor are pretty easy to operate and clean. I suggest getting used to flipping them before you take your first ride. As my first full face helmet I am very pleased with the quality and design as well as the fit. I find myself wearing this helmet much more than my old one and on almost every ride as opposed to never wearing my old heavy and clunky helmet and goggles. The matte finish is uniform and looks great. The upper and lower vents help keep things cool and clear and i have no problem using a headset with the visor down and in motion to make a phone call or hear someone on the 2 way radio and reply.. All in all a great helmet. I will update photos and also post if I need to change out any visors on the ease of doing so and any other things that come up as time goes on. I will note them as updates at the end.

I've gotten worse helmets for this price range. To get a full face helmet with a working shield and pin lock inner shield isn't bad. Does it look cheap up close? Well yeah, a little bit. It's not the best as sealing the air out & the liner is a bit thin. But it doesn't look terrible & it would be a good summer helmet. It's not heavy & it does fit my head pretty much spot on. It's also got a quick release strap.

This helmet is built well and the padding is decent. The plastics aren't quite as thick/durable as more expensive options but for the price it can't be beat. For casual trail riding I trust it to do it's job. If you're racing, jumping, doing anything professionally you're probably not even looking at anything in this price range. The black paint has some very subtle flake in it so it has a nice sparkle the sun.

The media could not be loaded. First, I own a Honda VTX 1300 motorcycle and I am familiar with helmet quality. While I do rate this helmet five stars, it is with the understanding that, just as the listing says, this is for off-road BMX or ATV type use. The helmet is a lightweight plastic material. I do like that it gives you the option of either the outer clear face lens or you can flip down the additional smoked lens for protection from sun glare. I wear glasses and found there is enough room to wear my glasses with both visors down. The inside is padded and removable so it can be laundered. It says it is DOT 218 certified, but those are self-certifications. Overall, I like the visor setup on the helmet and appreciate how well it fit my head.
