I hesitated to buy this buffing wheel as I'm a knife maker and I really wanted a variable speed unit instead, but the cost for variable speed is spendy. So thought I'd give this a try and see if the low speed was sufficient for buffing my finished leather sheaths. In short, it does a great job when you need controlled buffing. My only critical feedback would be it would be nice if the base was a little taller as there is very little room between the bottom of the buffing wheel and the table. As a quick fix, I just put it on a block of wood and bought me a few extra inches.

Not bad, well made, fairly quite, vibration isn't bad. nice for small jobs,, Cons: Not variable speed, pads that come with the machine are crap, use them for scrap pads, fell apart on first use. Can't handle a lot of pressure before the motor bogs down.

Great buffer for the price. I like the multi speed. Lower speed for cleaning and higher speed for buffing polishing. I changed out the one side to an upgraded polishing wheel purchase separately. It's heavy enough to stay in place unless you press really hard on it, and I like that, you can move it to different angles, which is convenient when working in a tight working area and have longer pieces. Very happy with the purchase !

Have only used 3 times , worked perfect first 2 times , now when turned on it runs slow with no torque, after a couple a couple min. It kicks up and runs like normal . Probly got a POS.
