For 4 months it was the most amazing transmitter I’ve owned. I immediately noticed the difference in the cars handling and speed increased around 5 miles an hour. It’s now the end of December and I purchased it in September so I’m gonna talk to somebody and see if I can get some customer service and hopefully they will still be able to help me. $300 is a lot to shell out… to be continued. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Huge Step up from the RadioLink RC6GS and gives it a much more sleek and sporty look. Great remote for bashing, speed running, drag, or any long/short distance riding. I haven’t done a whole lot of fine tuning with this one yet as it’s still new and I’m still learning it but it’s for sure a favorite of mine now. Super lightweight, easy to set up, nice grip, great response time, zero lag and imo looks the best also. I don’t really see a reason to not get one, same functions as the super expensive pro competitors but for a fraction of the price! ... show more

This radio has every function you could want including momentary (jog) for scale winches and everything. Beautiful screen that is bright and easily seen even in the sunlight. Totally worth it!

Works great and the latest firmware came on it. very happy with the range and the fpv works great as well! gives a awsome view when going around a track in fpv and can be alot of fun for a buddy to watch durring a race if they will allow it.

The RC8X controller has a lot of programing features. Works great for my blue race car. You can program the speed of the throttle so you don't take off the line to fast. It comes with 2 receivers for both of my cars. And the Lipo battery is great no more AA batteries to buy.

    • This comes at a cost
This transmitter rivals the more expensive Futabas and Sanwas with a ton of options and customizable options. I bought might very early when these first started to ship (the Radiolink) and I was unable to get the combo deal like you can get now as I only received the transmitter. Long-Term update: - A couple of my Radiolink receivers have failed and had one fail today at the track in a middle of a heat. It was embarassing to see the car come to a dead stop with a traffic of cars. - I did not receive a Radiolink bag for my transmitter Update: The fantastic team at ATA Hobby had reached out and made things better.
