These are perfect size to fit into a spice jar and it keeps the spices from settling. Keeps the spices fresh doesn’t cause any complications when sprinkling seasoning out of the bottle.

Only 4 stars because of price...maybe if these are sold in larger packs they'd be more cost-effective. Otherwise, these packets do the job - I use them for scuba gear such as my underwater camera housing and my mask case (which also holds my wrist computer). These little packets fit easily in the empty spaces - in my camera housing I can even keep one in there WITH the camera for extra protection against a little bit of moisture. I've used a whole pack over the last 9 months without any visible moisture, mold, etc... in the areas these things are protecting and without ever having one break (I throw them out after pulling the equipment out of storage for a trip and put new ones in when I re-pack everything). The other plus is these come in an easy to secure bag with a strong seal so you won't lose any packets before you're ready to use them. ... show more

Doing the job nicely! For reasons unbeknownst to me my duffle bag (that I am currently keeping my air mattress, air pump, small pillow, and 3 mexican blankets in A.K.A. "bed in a bag") started to get a little moisture in it. I honestly don't know why, maybe plastic form the mattress out-gassing, or maybe just the humidity in the South Eastern Texas air, I don't know. What I do know is that I cut the top off of this 20 pack and put the whole dang thing in the duffle bag and it seems to be keeping the moisture out fairly well. Don't know how silica gel really works but hey, what the heck, its ding the job. Got my recommendation for sure. ... show more

I bake a lot of treats to share with friends at work, and I always was frustrated that certain candies or desserts would sweat because of the temperature changes during the commute. I read somewhere that these packets could help, especially if you are coating something in sugar crystals that you don't want to just melt or get absorbed. I know there are special sugars or coatings that you can use for certain things, but this seemed like a much more universal solution and it has worked great so far! This was my second order for this item and the assortment offered here is a great deal and very practical in use. You'd be surprised at how many countries coins with their different sizes fit into these holders. Way better than the PVC flips which ruin the coins if stored several months or more. These holders will protect the coins for years with proper care. The only minor thing is it requires an infinite supply of staples. Got a third order on the way... ... show more

I've purchased these on several occasions here and never had any problems. I live in a humid area near the water, so I try to store everything I can with these packets. I keep them in my ammunition cans, firearm cases, and knife bags... and so far haven't been let down. Money well spent, and until I have a reason to get them elsewhere I will continue to use these. One of the orders I received disappointed me, being that the packets were sloppily vacuum sealed in a makeshift pouch. I used them anyway and haven't had a problem... so its all good. ... show more
