This is such a good deal!!! For one 1/2 oz jar it ‘is $25- you are getting 3 for $50- basically one for free! I absolutely LOVE drunk elephants products since they came out, despite the tweens making messes at the beauty stores and adults getting turned off that tweens were using ‘their’ skin products. Just silliness. Drunk elephant b-Hydra is hands down the best hyaluronic/skin prep I have ever used- HG. This is a great way to try their moisturizers . I have and use all 3 for different puprposes.. I need options for my peri skin- I never know what skin type I’m waking up to anymore! The pink is the most moisturizing and has shea. I use this to prep for facial laser for about 2 weeks, and this is the first non medical grade moisturizer I use post laser at day 6/7 and continue for about a month before slowly introducing actives again. Greasy oily face folks - you will absolutely not like this ever. Dry skin and laser friends- this is amazing- it’s thick and it feels wrong to be using on your face and not your hands— trust the process and go ahead and spread this out on your face. It will mostly absorb in about 5-10 minutes leaving a comfortable sheen that does eventually absorb full in about an hour. Amazing to use with tretinoin. My blue top protini— this one is much lighter than the pink and absorbs really well. There is some niancininamide hiding in here so this goes in my ‘actives’ bin— although it is gentle, raw skin can react. This is my go to on the regular at night- the petides work well for me but do a test spot just inncase. Oily and dry will like this happy medium Finally my purple top la la—- this one I love for daytime when I need some extra hydration and do not want to look like a wall of shine. This gives lightweight hydration in a silky texture and absorbs fast and fully for next morning step. Love this in winter morning before sunscreen or just hanging out at home. Lovely gel/cream texture. Oily friends will love this texture and absorption. Dry friends will like the light hydration for make up prep— when heavier moisturizers will make foundation look weird and melty- this will give you just enough moisture. I think this is similiar to Elemis in texture. TLDR- this is a deal , it comes directly from Drunk elephant so no weird knock offs. There is a moisturizer in here for anytime of the season and skin type.

I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to Drunk Elephant, so this trio felt like a great way to try several of their creams without committing to full-size products. For $52, you receive three 0.5 oz creams, which I found to be a reasonable value for money considering the brand and the opportunity to compare them side by side. I’ve used all three: Protini Peptide Cream, Bora Barrier Repair Cream, and Lala Retro Whipped Cream. Each one has a different feel and purpose in a routine. The first thing I noticed and appreciated right away is that all three are completely free of added fragrance. For me, that’s a big plus. I have experienced skin sensitivity in the past, often related to fragranced products, and I had no issues with irritation while using any of these. They all felt very compatible with my skin, which speaks to good overall skin compatibility. In terms of texture and use: • The Bora Barrier Repair Cream is the richest of the three. It feels thick and very nourishing, making it ideal for nighttime use or when my skin is especially dry. I wish I had this on hand during a recent stretch when my skin felt extremely dry, because it would have been perfect for that. • The Protini Peptide Cream has a lighter, more gel-like texture. It absorbs easily and works well during the day, including under makeup. • The Lala Retro Whipped Cream sits somewhere in between. It has a soft, airy feel and also works nicely as a daytime moisturizer, especially when I want something hydrating but not heavy. All three creams left my skin feeling soft and well moisturized, with an immediate improvement in overall skin appearance after application. Since I’ve only used them for a short time, I can’t yet speak to long-term results, but I like that this set allows me to see how each one fits into my routine depending on my skin’s needs and even the weather. For example, I can already tell that the lighter creams will be great during warmer, more humid months, while the richer one will be more useful during drier conditions. Overall, this trio feels like a thoughtful introduction to the brand. It gives you enough product to really try each cream and decide which one works best for you without having to commit to full sizes right away.
