    • Pure raw industrial metal
Author and Punisher has to be one of the most unique industrial/metal bands yet. Mainly because it's a one man band, Tristan Shone, and he made all of the instruments. There is no actual guitar, bass, drum set, all just sound machines he designed and manufactured. I dont know how much more industrial you can get. Not to mention Author and Punisher is one of the heaviest artists my I've ever listen too. Drone Machines is right up there with Godflesh's Streetcleaner and Swan's early releases. So if you are a fan of those two bands, I highly recommend you check out A.&.P.'s Drone Machines. Of course it wont get much notice, but I think it's one of '10 best metal releases. You should also check out A.&.P.'s myspace, since it has great interviews with Tristan about how he created his machines/instruments and how they work.
