This cane has a hard preformed plastic grip that is made to fit your hand. On canes with the foam grip, the grips have a tendency to move on the cane pipe and will eventually disintegrate from the oil on your hand. This grip does have gel on the part that your hand rests on and it seems that it is attached very permanently to the cane pipe, so it is not going to move. The handle on this cane is very comfortable...a very good grip. The cane itself is very light weight, sturdy and affordable.I purchased my first one in 2017 and am still using it, then bought a second and now this one is my third. The tip that comes with this cane is standard but not stable enough for me. I purchase another tip that allows for the cane to stand on its own and affords more stability (not this company's fault in any way but my preference.)I tried another company's cane with a nice pattern but handle was cheap and very uncomfortable. Amazon sent me to company for return. They refused and sent me back to Amazon. So far no word from Amazon. ... show more

I had a broken foot so needed a bit of support. This cane can be adjusted to fit most adults, from 5.5" ish to 6.6" ish, and is rated for up to 300 lbs. The brand and ergonomic handle was recommended by my physical therapist. It's not expensive, about $20. The only complaint I had was the ergonomic handle can't easily be hooked over a chair back/etc so I did have to pay attention when I sat down to make sure it didn't fall down. For me that wasn't much of an issue since I only needed it for a few weeks. If you needed a cane all the time, you might want to pay a bit more for the self-standing model. ... show more

At first I thought this was the cats meow, but I find myself grasping the cane further forward and half off the grip with my index finger extending down the curve to keep the cane stable (less wobbly) when walking. I love the oval grip which distributes the weight on my hand.

I'm pretty short at 4'11 so it can be difficult to find a cane which fits properly, this one fits perfect for me at its lowest height! I like the feature that keeps it from clicking when you walk around. I do find the handle is a bit wide to grip if you have small hands like I do, and the foot wore out pretty quick but overall it has been a great cane! ... show more
