  • The best walker/wheelchair ever
Color: Black
I purchased this walker a while ago for my 82 year-old mother. She got very ill and for a while could not walk on her own. Getting her to and from doctors appointments was so easy with this product. Very easy to open and close. Also, if you don’t want to use the wheelchair you don’t have to. This is not for someone to sit in for hours because it is not that comfortable but if you need something that is not so heavy, very easy to use as for an emergency or to take them to and from a doctors appointment or shopping, this is the chair to have. I love it. It was such a convenience to have and when she was able to just walk on her own, it’s a regular walker and very sturdy. One thing I do have to mention it is not super light. The reason for that is you have the option to convert it into a simple wheelchair with that being said I recommend this 100%. ... show more

  • Great versatile walker
Color: Blue
This has been a life saver for me. I have MS and get tired walking. This easily converts to a transport chair and my husband can push me so I can rest for a while. We really put it to the test when we went to a Tanger Outlet Mall and we used this to push me from store to store. Very durable and easy to convert from walker to transport chair. I can't hold my feet up while sitting and being pushed so the feet rest are wonderful. **EDIT OCTOBER 1, 2014** After having this rollator for quite some time now I can better give details. I still love and use this rollator on a daily basis. After awhile the wheels get "dents" in them and when my husband is pushing me around a store, it jumps around terribly. So other than the seat is really hard and I can't sit in it for very long, the backrest is very uncomfortable and the wheels get squishy or bumpy. It's still a very useful item to have if you need help walking and need to sit for short periods of time and or be pushed. I wish it had softer rubber wheels as it slips kinda easy on our laminate floors and if there is any kind of uneven ground, like on a side walk, it will stop dead and I've been dumped out a couple of times because of this. So Drive Medical, if you are reading this, please improve on the wheels, back rest and seat. Or at least have extras you can buy to upgrade the rollator. ... show more

  • Sturdy and easy to use.
Color: Burgundy
This is a wonderful walker. I have enjoyed this more than any I have had. I can go with my kids and walk until I get tired and then they can push me in it. It's easy to get around with and kids say it's easy for them to push me in it. It's a little heavier and sturdier than the regular walker but to me that is a plus. Great buy. First one bought 2021 June 2023 I loved this walker but the front wheel up inside broken and it has been hard to find parts for it So I bought a new one from Amazon and had it only a couple weeks and the front wheel started dragging and final it broke. I called Amazon and they refunded my money so now I have 2 broken ones. But we finally found out you need to check the bolt's that go up inside they were not tight and the wheels are loose so when you sit on it and use it like a wheelchair it puts to much pressure on that wheel and it breaks the bolt up inside so make sure to check those bolts. I love this Walker and plan to buy another one because we can't find parts for either one. June 26,23 I have been trying to get someone to fix the front right wheels on both of my walkers and having a hard time getting them fixed. I would not buy this walker again. If you do buy this walker be sure you check the bolt that goes up inside is tight. I think that is why mine has broke. It's not the wheel but the bolt that holds the wheel on the walker. July 18, 2023 The company I hired to fix it. Found so many more things wrong with this drive walker. If you buy it make sure you check the bolt that goes up inside the wheel to the frame. I would not recommend this walker after the tech showed me all the things that are not safe. ... show more

  • Good Concept but could use some improvements
Color: Blue
My wife had knee replacement surgery. We bought this to enable her to get out to go places within days of her surgery without worrying if she could tolerate the length of any walking involved. When she did not want to walk any further, this unit easily converted to a mini wheel chair so she could ride and be pushed letting her be able to go out without the concern of overdoing the early walking. The unit worked really well for her needs. However, we have experienced two issues. First, if the person leans forward to reach something, the unit can tip forward and cause the person to fall out of it. Since the brakes on on the rear wheels, once it start tipping, it can easily roll backwards and cause the person to fall out of it. Second, since she had both knees replaced 5 months apart, the unit got quite a bit of use for both operations. It began to push hard and make clicking noises. These were caused by the wheel bearings failing. I have since had to replace the bearings in 3 of the 4 wheels and the bearing just fell apart when the wheel was removed. Fortunately, I discovered that the bearings used in skateboard and inline skates use the same size bearings and were less then $1 each. Each wheel uses two bearings. The wheel bearings simply are not durable enough to support the weight and side loading placed on them by this walker chair so if you plan to use it on an extended basis, you should expect to have to replace the wheel bearings. With good bearings, it rolls very easily. I am able to push my wife and a shopping cart at the same time to do our grocery shopping. Beyond the two issues discussed above, we love the chair. At 20 lbs, it is light and easy to put in and out of the car when folded. It enabled my wife to get out of the house and go places long before she would have been able to do so with a fixed walker, cane, or crutches. ... show more
