    • Easy to assemble, but slow to raise/lower

The desk came well packaged and was fairly easy to assemble. It did take two people to carry the package up the stairs, and to flip the table right side up once assembled. But the instructions were clear and easy and you only needed one of the tools provided (although a power tool would’ve been better to use for several of the screws). It took me a couple of hours, but most of the time was spent hand-screwing in everything. The desk takes over a minute to reach its tallest setting, but it’s pretty quiet. I’ve had it fully assembled for less than a day and I’ve noticed some squeaking sounds when going up/down. I wish the desk came with a basket underneath for cable management. There are pre-drilled holes for one, but it did not come with it. The headphone holder is in a weird location, but I’m not a gamer and don’t plan on using it. Overall the desk looks good, feels solid/sturdy, and functions well. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Update 1/17 received email from distributor instructing me to loosen a specific screw which the corner leg was mounted to and it made the sound go away! Will update again once I receive the replacement screws. If you need support for this product, contact the distributor, BayTech Supplies, not Amazon, as they are the ones who will help you out, where as Amazon only offered a product refund. Everything is great except for the loud squeaking of the motor on one of the legs. Contacted manufacturer who offered no support stating that all post sales support needed to happen from Amazon. Makes me dubious of the warranty of this item. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The quality of the table is good. It functions well. The only things I hate are the squicking noise of the bearing when table moves up and slow motor speed.

    • Flimsy construction materials

Followed the pictograph instructions and assembled alone in about an hour using screw gun with allen and phillips attachments. The screws that are meant to hold the two piece top together with tiny brackets, and to hold top(s) to the metal raise lower frame are miniscule and inadequate. I lost track of the number that it calls for to attach along frame to top, but whatever the number, they are pointless. On picking up the desk to set it upright, virtually all of them exploded back out of the plywood and scattered across the floor, tearing out tiny holes so they couldn't be re-used. I had to cut bracers out of plywood that I had already and use coarse drywall screws to essentially build a separate frame to hold the top together and hold it to the metal frame. I would have returned, but I needed to set up my home office for telework the next day and had already given my previous desk away. Junk. ... show more

    • Sturdy Desk, motors squealing out of the box

Took stars off for shipping box damage, delays (thanks FedEx) and for the motors being squeaky out of the box. Despite FedEx's efforts to destroy the packaging, the desk was surprisingly well packaged. I couldn't find any damage to any of the components. Overall the desk assembly was straightforward. No issues with assembly, but to echo other reviews, I did need someone to help me flip it when I finished assembling it. I was disappointed to find that both motors squealed out of the box. I applied white lithium grease to the turning points and the squeal seems to have mostly stopped for now. The raise and lower rates are a little slower than I would expect. I've had this desk for two weeks now. I use this desk for both work (laptop) and play (desktop). The four leg setup is sturdy even on carpet, holding my desktop computer and widescreen monitor without issue while giving me room to work on other devices. The motors squealing and raise/lower speed give me some concern on the longevity to the motors but so far no problems apart from the previously mentioned noise issue. For the price, this desk is not bad. I'll try to post another update in several months to include the state of the motors. ... show more
