I was disappointed that the table top part was damaged. I reached out to the seller to ask for a replacement part. Instead of sending one they provided a damage discount which worked for me. I would’ve preferred the replacement part since there was basically no way for me to return such a large and heavy item that arrived in two boxes without paying exorbitant return fees. The desk is pretty easy to assemble and the part seem pretty good quality, except the damage of course. I did most of the assembly on my own but did ask the husband to help toward the end (it’s a two person flip for sure). The raising and lowering is not the fastest but it works. First of all, the entire table is divided into two shipments. One is table surface, and another one is table stands. The most difficult part is installing stands, but it is only 6 steps. Second, I love the adjustment of height is smoothy and slow. It is a really adjustment. So i can move a little bit up and down to find my prefect height. Lastly, the L shape is ok to have enough space but do not block the way for in and out. This is a good thing to share, especially as a gift to friends. ... show more

It might take a little longer for me to install it, but the instruction is very clear and easy to install it.
