I’ve had a real issue with most thermal mugs including the most expensive ones in terms of cleaning out the lids. It seems that no matter what you do eventually mold forms u see the sliding parts that open/close for sipping. But not these! Both the sipping part and the straw entry easily open all the way for cleaning. Such a smart design!! And I’ve had days where I’ve put in a few ice cubes and a cold drink and ran errands for hours while the mug stayed in the car - sometimes in hot sun. And 8 hours later the ice was still almost 100%! I have found them to also be quite sturdy but recently I dropped one of the lids onto a hard surface and the piece that hold the sipping flipper broke. I contacted the company (DrinCo) to see if I could purchase a new lid. I heard back in under 24 hours asking for my address so they could send me a new lid at no cost. A great product at a great price with great customer service. What more could you ask for?! ... show more

It's a nice tumbler, but not leak proof. It's pretty minor, like a drop or two at a time, but it does leak. If you're drinking water it's not an issue, but I had Jamaica in mine (super red) and it almost stained my couch. I took off a star for the dribbling. I took off another star because the lid is hard to grip. When the lid is wet, it's really hard to get a grip on the lid to close it without putting most of the pressure on the plug (which could loosen/break it over time). The little plastic tab to help is too flush with the lid to be much help. This is a minor thing, so I didn't take off a star, but the lid and cup are two slightly different shades of teal. The plastic tab on a lid is a little more blue, where the cup itself is a bit more green. It's minor, but noticeable if you're particular about color. The colors are very pretty though. UPDATE: I've been using this mug for over a year now, and am pleasantly surprised at how well it held up. I've since discovered it doesn't drip per se, so much as if there is ANY liquid caught above the silicone ring 100% will drip out so be careful when filling. The sealing tab on the lid and the silicone ring also come off, so you can give it a good scrubbing. I use a toothbrush with dish soap and it comes clean without issue. I've bleached it as well with no discoloration. All in all, I'm giving it back a star. ... show more

It's a great price, a great size, I love the splash proof lid, the lock on the lid if you are using the straw instead of drinking from the tumbler and that if you use the tumbler to drink from, you can lock the place where the straw is inserted. UPDATE: 4 Years later and still going strong like new. This is high quality. This has to be by far one of the bestest purchases I have done on Amazon. They are so elegant, loved the color purple, is my favorite color. It's the perfect size, it does not sweat, wich is GREAT and it does not slip from my fingers. The lid is of the my favorites I had ever tried, it does not fall and hit you in your nose, because when you pull it back it sort of sticks there. It is really comfortable to sip from directly, and don't get me started with the metal straws. The straws were one of the things that really caught my attention at first, and it is amazing, it is so easy to clean, it comes with it's own brush, but when you sip yoir cold drinks, you actually feel the metallic straw makes it more freshly cold through. It holds up the cold and warmth for like a looooong time, this is my everyday for everything and let's be honest, it's good for Earth too. My husband saw this, and he was instantly in love too and wanted one for his work.... little that he knew that I thought ahead and I surprised him when he had his own too, and I got him the black one.     • After 2 1/2 yrs, lid flap cracked on one

Me and my husband used these for 3 years now but the lid flap has cracked on his where it snaps on and I didn't want to break it, so his would just get rinsed off. It's pretty nasty with black on it but he didn't care, so he kept using it. Now my lid has a crack along the side of the lid that I just noticed and it can't be cleaned well. I want it cleaned. These have been good cups for coffee and have kept it hot for quite a while and then gets warm. You can't get the last drink unless you unscrew the lid and drink it straight from the cup. I tried to find new lids but these screw on and the others have a silicone ring around them that you just press onto the cup. We liked them but I wish I'd have gotten one's with lids you just press on. These have the lid that your nose hits against. I gave the rating of a 4 because of the lid problems, otherwise it would have been a 5. UPDATE 4/2022: I purchased these again after trying several others and finding out the lid pops off those mentioned because of the hot coffee and the size stated for 3 of them was not accurate and didn't hold as much as was stated.
