Why did you pick this product vs others?: No leaks, keeps liquids hot, and all things considered, pretty durable. I strap it in my bike basket where it rubs against metal. Some of the exterior is rubbing off, but this isn't normal storage of a tumbler. My ride to work is about an hour and my coffee is still hot enough to enjoy. Also really love the locking feature. Out of my 3 travel mugs, this is my favorite.

UPDATE: 4 Years later and still going strong like new. This is high quality. This has to be by far one of the bestest purchases I have done on Amazon. They are so elegant, loved the color purple, is my favorite color. It's the perfect size, it does not sweat, wich is GREAT and it does not slip from my fingers. The lid is of the my favorites I had ever tried, it does not fall and hit you in your nose, because when you pull it back it sort of sticks there. It is really comfortable to sip from directly, and don't get me started with the metal straws. The straws were one of the things that really caught my attention at first, and it is amazing, it is so easy to clean, it comes with it's own brush, but when you sip yoir cold drinks, you actually feel the metallic straw makes it more freshly cold through. It holds up the cold and warmth for like a looooong time, this is my everyday for everything and let's be honest, it's good for Earth too. My husband saw this, and he was instantly in love too and wanted one for his work.... little that he knew that I thought ahead and I surprised him when he had his own too, and I got him the black one. Absolutely recommend!!!

I bought 3 of these for my family and me. The good. They're very nice looking and excel at keeping the coffee hot for quite long periods. They're relatively easy to wash in the sink or in dishwasher. On the not so good side, the main problem is with the lid. First, closing tight and opening the lid is somewhat awkward and feels as if the snap closure could break. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, there is a problem with the snap closure tab, when fully opened to drink. Every time it's opened to drink, the wet part of the opening plug runs back toward the tip of the nose and wets it. I have to wipe my nose tip almost every time I take a sip. The problem here is that when opened and "locked" shut on the opposite lid side, there is 1/8 of an inch play so that it drops back enough to make contact with the nose when sipping. (And my nose is not that long by any means!) It is very annoying. Ideally, if Drinco can get rid of that 1/8 inch play when it's supposed to be snapped open, this problem could probably be eliminated. This problem is mostly the reason for my 4 instead of 5 star rating.

What I like: it really does the job I use ice and it will definitely keep a cold for quite a while. I've come home from work and left it overnight and the next day it still had ice in it. It has been durable. I use it everyday at work. Outside still looks pretty much new. Inside is fine. I thought I really care so much about what the inside of a cup looks like. I like the o-ring type clear seal is still working okay. I've taken it off because you really need to clean it. It sits on the round screw on cap. There's a rubber tab on the top that you can open or close to give it air to breathe I guess. But I keep it closed all the time. It's been a while since I shook it, in the beginning that seal would leak. so now I pretty much stir whatever. I don't know if it leaks now. Maybe it got broken in. Stability is okay. I mean it's a little narrow. But that narrowness does make it easy to hold comfortably. So if you hit it, it's going to fall over. It has maintained its appearance. It would be a nice gift for somebody.

So I've always had an issue with open cups. I always drank from a straw especially when I had braces.. I have pomskys and they do shed. Even with vacuuming every day several times a day and dusting,there is always a few strands of their fur floating around and ends up in my cups and I instantly freak out. I've purchases plastic to go cups with lids and straws and finally decided to buy these products and spend the money one time instead of constantly buying plastic cups with lids. This Keeps my drinks cold! like cold! for a good 24hrs with ice in it.. I haven't really tried to use it as a hot beverage holder yet as I love making my blended ice coffee or shakes but I'm sure it'll do just fine holding the heat. I was so skeptical about the straws as I over think about... it may chip my tooth or maybe stab somewhere in my mouth as it's happened with plastic straws once before but the scrubber comes in handy for shakes that end up drying up inside. I just ran out of plastic straws so literally this came in handy. I love purple so it was perfect for me. The other is for the bf so coming in a 2pck is awesome! These things can be very pricey! 2 cups with 2screw on lids, 2 straws and 2 straw scrubbers all for the price of one. I'm not regretting it yet. UPDATE: THURSDAY DEC 3 10:05PM THIS AFTERNOON I MADE MY LAST CUP OF COFFEE FOR THE DAY AT APPROXIMATELY 12:45PM SINCE IT'S WINTERISHHHHH AND IT'S COLD. WAITING ON THE WOOD STOVE TO HEAT UP ONCE I STACKED WOOD... It seems like its forever. SO DRINKING SOMETHING WARM FEELS GREAT. OH! BTW... YOU CANNOT FEEL THE TEMP.FROM THE OUTSIDE WHAT SO EVER! BE VERY CAREFUL! I FEEL LIKE IT GETS HOTTER ONCE POURED INTO THIS CUP. WELL I ENDED UP LEAVING IT ON THE TABLE SIPPING AT IT HERE AND THERE UNTIL THE LIVING ROOM TEMP REACHED NORMAL TEMP. IT IS NOW 10:10pm BUT STARTED TYPING THIS AT 10:05pm OUt of habit I picked up the cup, opened the lid, sipped on it and it was fricken warm!!!! like 9ish 10ish hours later?! 😯 This is an awesome buy! Get it! 2 cups, Screw on lids, Straws- 2 straight and 2 angled Get it Get it! its fricken worth it!
