These are affordable very high quality curtains . I purchased eights to update our lake house and couldn't be happier. I bought the gray stripe for the living room and kitchen area and the sage striped for the bedrooms. The color is soft and subtle which is just what I wanted. HINT: I hung the first four sets out of the package knowing I'd have to steam them later. Then before I hung the bedroom curtains, I remembered the trick of throwing them in the dryer with some ice cubes, preferably about a cup crushed ice. After a 10-minute spin they come out beautifully in the fabric is quite a bit softened. I'm very happy with this purchase! I like the look of these curtains and they work well in the room, but they are only moderately effective as blackout curtains. The curtains which were previously in the room were moved elsewhere, and I used another set of not particularly effective blackout drapes with these curtains, such that the combination of the two darkens the room.
