i’m a super-fan/stan of drift wood car fresheners. they smell SO GOOD i want EVERYTHING, including myself, to smell like them. pro tip: i add the “used” wooden blocks to my dresser drawers to get an occasional whiff of LUXURY. so, i was stoked to see they’re making colognes. dream come true, right? there are only 2 cologne scents available, and “open road” sounded like my best bet of the 2, so i ordered the bathroom diffusers to test. it’s a good scent: fresh, for sure. but it smells the same as most other fresh scents. definitely not luxury, definitely not drift-worthy. i could buy any grocery store plug-in diffuser that smells similarly. major disappointment. guys, gals at drift, wtf?!? expensive dupes of lesser brand names is not what i expected, paid for, or will order again. gross. don’t stray so far from your brand. give the people drift-quality scents & we’re yours forever. anyway, the device works well. the smell isn’t offensive. but the purchase does not live up to the quality of scent drift usually delivers.

The Diffuser equipment works great however this lavender scent does not smell like any lavender I am accustomed to. It has powdery undertones and gave me a headache almost instantly. I unplugged it even unplugged it is so strong with this odd a natural perfume powdery smell. I chose this brand because it's supposed to be all natural without any hormone disruptors and synthetic ingredients. I do not know what's in this but it is not the lavender I'm accustomed to. The reason I gave it to Stars is because the diffuser itself is good. It seems to work well and I have ordered the Grove version which is citrusy and I did like that one.

As an essential oil advocate, this smells nothing like lavendar. It reminds me of cheap, Walgreens cologne that my Dad sprays on himself after he goes outside for a cigarette smoke. My husband even made a comment that the scent is like being hit by a cheap cologne even on the lowest setting. I gave it a 3-star as it does cover up the dog and dog food smell in our mudroom, but I was really hoping for a more natural and elegant scent. I am so bummed. If you like fake scents, then this might work as it does cover up other unpleasant smells. However, now I am curious how "non-toxic" this truly is if it smells this far off from real lavendar.
