Got these in the mail today and at first glace, they looked better than the other brand I've been buying. There were no burnt/rotted wedges and no visible seeds. Once I started eating them though, I was disappointed. These are hard, not soft and fleshy, despite having added SO2. The flavor was mostly sugar with almost no citrus, but there was an off taste, kind of like candied ginger, Not super strong, but enough to notice without any other strong flavor to mask it. Ever leave a half-eaten piece of orange sit only to come back later and pop it into your mouth - - taste the dry, chewy, but no taste to it or juicy left? That's how these tasted to me. Might be good chopped up and used in cookies or cake, but out of hand, like dry, chewy NOT JUICY ........

Very tasty, in particular because the sugar monster in me loves sugary sugar, and that is also the downfall of these. They are a treat that you can't eat very much of because there is so much sugar and tart ascorbic acid (vitamin C) on them. I would like to mention to the creators of this treat that little to no modification of tangerines is needed because they actually taste really good without any alteration at all! I will buy them again, and when I do I will lament that I am unable to find dried tangerine wedges without the hokey EXTREME!! modifications meant to capture jaded taste buds. ... show more
