I will never ever ever ever ever sit for hours at a time to get my hair braided. EVER. this was the best thing, took 2 hours. I am very finicky about hair and will chop mine off in a minute. I went from long hair to short and back and forth. Now for some reason I want to grow it out again and have this amazing bob to go with my new 50 year old new me. But the in between phase is a killer. So my stylist not knotless box braids around the perimeter and did crotchet for the rest and let me tell you - fantastic. I don’t really like the boho style because the hair gets tangly especially if it’s not human hair. But it looked great. After about 3 weeks I cut the boho strands off and still have a fresh box braids around style. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it does itch on my skin. But otherwise perfect. I will look for a pre washed version next time but I will definitely use this product again.

The color is nice. But the hair tangles a lot and the braids are very thin so you will more than likely need two orders of the hair to fill your head and make it look good. Just like many stated, the knots slip out a lot at the roots due to the hair being so silky. If you are planning to wear your hair down it’ll definitely be a problem. I wore mine in a half up half down hairstyle so it didn’t bother me much. I typically leave my crochet braids in for at least two months. I could tell these would not last as long due to tangling. Possibly the longer the hair the more it tangles.
