These are nice sandals exactly as shown. They are fairly comfortable. I think the brand name makes one expect a little more comfort to the foot bed. I didn’t quite see how they actually hooked around the ankle in the picture. This wraps around the back and then to the front again to secure on the side. My fault for not looking closer at the pics and reviews. I have narrow feet and small ankles. It’s very hard to get the fit right around the ankle. Too tight to secure the shoe, and it rubs the back of my ankle. Too loose and the sandal flops around. The sizing of the foot bed was true to size. I wear a sandal in 7.5 and everything else with a sock an 8. I like the neutral color as it can be worn with anything and it was exactly as shown. Worried about a blister on the back of the ankles, but I am going to keep them and try them to see if I can make them work. If you have small ankles and narrow feet, this strappy design may not work.

I bought these shoes new, however they arrived loose in an amazon box and had obvious signs of previous wear. The inside of box claimed that the original box was previously damaged, however the shoe straps showed wrinkles from having been buckled and unbuckled by someone else (the shoes came unbuckled, so obviously someone had buckled/unbuckled them before for the damage to be there.) I also think its crazy that there was no additional packaging to ensure no further damage would be done in transit. They were literally just thrown loose into an empty box. As for the shoes themselves, they are true to size. I typically wear a 7.5 in sneakers/sandals and the 7.5 in these fit well. I did not experience the straps being too tight like other reviews. I will say the straps feel low quality and i wont be surprised if they fall apart at some point in the near future. Disappointed by the state i received these shows in. Buy at your own risk.
