I was looking for dressy boots that would be safe for walking in lots of snow and ice. These have good tread for traction in the snow. They are fur lined and warm. I got multiple compliments the first day I wore them, they look very nice. Only negative is I have to push my foot hard to get it in & pull hard to take them off. Once in, it's comfortable, not tight. But the area around the lower ankle portion is very firm and narrow, so hard to get on & off. But they were a good price, so I guess it's worth a little struggle. ... show more

I have ordered several pairs of shoes from Dream Pairs, including their riding boots with a short block heel. They have all been great and fit me fine. I am a consistent size 11 in all their other shoes and in most other brands of shoe. In this style, though, I can't even get them on to see if they are long/wide enough. The vertical space when you slip your foot in is WAY too tight. If you are ordering these, you might want to size up a bit, especially if you have higher arches or bigger feet. They are super cute and look/feel comfy and warm and sturdy like my other Dream Pairs boots, I just wish the foot space was a little roomier (people gotta wear socks, too!) and/or that they came in a size bigger than 11. ... show more

Loved these boots! Warm, comfortable, walked all over Scotland for a week in them and my feet felt great! Accurate sizing (women’s 10, fit perfectly) Good grip on bottom for wet and slippery Scotland terrain. Water resistant, no problems with wet feet, even in mud and rain. Highly recommend.
