Super comfortable boots. I get compliments on them! They did get a scrape and some of the top layer came off within the first week. I have wide feet and my calves are on the larger side and they fit great. I wore them for a whole convention without blisters or fatigue. The last pair of combat boots I bought, I accidentally purchased an 8.5 instead of an 7.5. I returned them to Amazon with my roommate’s help in watching for the UPS delivery man. I was able to get my $31 gift card refund in one week. This time, I observed for a size 7.5. It took an extra long time for USPS to deliver them at the correct address, but it was worth it with my sweet roommate’s support. The 7.5 size fit way better, plus the shiny black leather is super cool yet fascinating. The calf top fits a little tight (not way too tight) yet comfortable without loose gaps, which is what I wanted. The outer faux zippers are only for looks, which is not useful to me. ... show more

Great pair of boots. I bought specifically because they are faux leather and easy to get off because of zipper, as well as easy to wipe off after spending 8 to 10 hours on a crowded dance floor. Leather would be scuffed to all hell! They also give me a little added height as a short fellow with the extra toe room that I’ve not been able to find in a men’s boot. Extremely comfortable and I’m so glad I got them right before the crazy winter storm. They really function great as snow boots and also look super stylish. Incredible value for the money. Also very roomy so no need to size up like I have to do with other boots.

The boots are a great quality, especially for the price. The complaints about the zipper almost stopped me from buying them, but I decided to purchase them anyway. ***One zipper is just for fashion!!! It's not meant to be a functional zipper, hence the stitch in it.*** Most of the complaints I saw were regarding the zipper, so I wanted to let others know about it, so they wouldn't try to use (and break) the zipper that is just there for aesthetics. Boots are pretty scuff resistant. Fit is true to size. They are easy to get on and off. My daughter wore them for the first time when we had a very long day of walking and traveling, and the boots didn't cause her any discomfort.
