  • My new favorite boots
Love these boots! The warm fleece inside kept my feet nice and cozy. I ordered a size 11, I usually wear a 10.5-11 (depending on the shoe) and I feel like it was true to size, so it was just a little big on me, BUT I also was wearing thin socks. So they leave enough room to wear some thicker socks without being constricting. Also, the extra little hidden pockets are SO neat. They're just the right size to stash an ID and some cash. The boots are comfy, feel nice on the outside too, and are definitely worth the money. The quality was surprisingly good. And they are so chic, cannot recommend them enough. ... show more

  • Perfect every day boots
At first I was simply looking for boots with a built-in pocket since I hate carrying purses (especially for concerts, day-trips, etc), and as a delightful surprise I found my favorite shoes for all occasions. I honestly prefer to wear boots nearly every day now and love how these instantly make any outfit look more polished. STORAGE - Obviously don't expect to put too much in each pocket as it's not meant to hold a lot nor would you want an unsightly bulge or creases in the material anyway. It is, however, perfect for a few essentials. I keep my ID, credit card, and cash on one and a tiny phone charger cable in the other. Inside the shoe itself I sometimes tuck in a small portable battery against my calf. In public bathrooms, I love being able to temporarily hold my phone in the boot rather than using a random gross ledge on those days bringing a bag is impractical. You may not have this extra room if you have wider calves though. FIT - My first couple of pairs did not fit so I had to exchange them, but once I got a better size it was worth the hassle. For reference, I wear shoes anywhere between a 7 and 8 US women's (as we all know women's sizes can vary by manufacturer) and have a length (toe to heel) of 23.7 cm. Dream Pairs' 8 was most comfortable for me as someone who wants the options of layers (socks, fishnets, tights, jeans, etc). You might prefer a half size smaller for a more snug fit. QUALITY - For the price, Dream Pairs nails it. My first pair in black has lasted over 2 years so far with no issues. There are some minor scuffs on the toes, but that was entirely my fault (I'm childish and enjoy kicking rocks from time to time) so not worth taking off a star. I can wear these boots year-round in the sweltering heat of Florida yet not feel like my legs are melting. Moreover, I've even worn these in the snow while on vacation and still felt warm, dry, and comfortable. All the zippers have held up well although the pocket zipper pulls were a little stiff at first. COLOR - The terran black and terran gray are both as pictured. The only thing I didn't like about the gray boots is the brown heel clashes a bit for my tastes, and I would have preferred a gray boot that is actually 100% gray. On the bright side, the color is a nice neutral gray that goes with everything rather than some grays with yellow or blue undertones for example. Lastly, while a couple reviewers complained about the "noise" these boots make when you walk, I actually kind of love that detail. Not that it's super noticeable or annoying, but on a quiet evening walk when I do hear it, I enjoy the commanding, satisfying "stomp". It gives me a boost of confidence as if I can take on anything and look like a badass doing it. Funny story - my husband instantly knew it was me walking past a dressing room he was in once because he heard my signature boots. TIP: If you're really that particular and feel the need to sneak up on people, you could easily adjust this yourself if you glue the loose part of the buckle or maybe wrap a small piece of felt/cloth around it. tldr; Beautiful boots at a good price. Practical pocket for essentials, comfortable for every day wear, lovely way to elevate any outfit. Loved it so much I bought another in a different color. A+ would stomp all around the world with these. ... show more

  • Other reviews aren't stating this, but...
I'd like to get one small issue addressed early here- the calf adjustment options, which no one's really articulating. The laces are the only way to conveniently tighten the calf. The back buckles are not functional, unless you open one and create a new hole there to tighten the buckle. I'm not sure I'd want to try that, wondering if this would end up over-wrinkling the boot. I have a muscular calf, and am going to re-lace these much tighter. If my big leg finds them a bit loose, yours probably will too. Just decide now if you are ok with a somewhat looser calfed boot. I am, so no issue here. I'm a tall athletically built person and I normally wear an 11, and if wides are available, I go for them, even though my foot is just wide-ish, not a true wide. Since widths weren't an option in this boot, and some reviews were suggesting they ran a tad small, I bit the bullet and bought a 12, hoping it would be proportionately wider and long enough. This worked well - they aren't too narrow, and the length is a bit more than I need, but it's fine. If you have thicker toes, or toes that knuckle up or curl upwards, be aware that the toebox on my pair was inconsistent. One boot had room for upward toe wiggle room, while the other was not as high and requires my toes stay flat. I'm fine with this but for some folks it might be an issue. The day these arrived, they took me on a 5 hours errand run to a bunch of stores during Christmas shopping season which meant walking from distant parking to stores, standing a while in line, and generally getting around. I tend to blister in a heartbeat, and found these really comfortable, no blisters. I got the grey or gray, which has a pale tannish heel, and that detail is hard to see. I like the way they look with skinny jeans. The laces are quite long, so I tied them and tucked them into the boot rather than having them flop. Really like the height - not down at the ankle, but also not cutting off my calf at its widest point. Flattering. In winter, my footwear is mostly black or grey. I have black combats but wanted another option. This grey really works for me and will go with coats and bags easily. The price on these seems to fluctuate, but for $25-30, don't agonize, worth it. ... show more

  • What took me so long?
My first pair of these boots arrived while I was cooking dinner. I was dressed in a floor length cotton nightgown with lace trim. I suspended operations to open the package. It is freezing cold outside and the boots, likewise. But I zipped them on. At first I thought they might be too small. But I resumed meal preparation and, as they warmed up, these boots became "one" with my feet. The fit is perfect and they feel like moccasins. They're sturdy. Both the boots and my feet. They're much, much cuter than in the pictures. I wanted a pair of burgundy boots and found these on sale. It wasn't such a massive bargain, and I'd probably looked at this style at least 20 times, in my endless quest for boots. These boots are a fair deal at full price! But, the wild impulse finally struck and I got all 4 colors that were still left in my size. Good thing, because they're nearly gone now! My guess is that all the colors will look better in real life, as these camel boots do. They're a deeper, richer color. I handle all zippers with care. This one seems like a good quality zip, but an oz. of prevention... One reviewer mentioned her sole came apart. This was after daily wear. I hate when that happens. I was able to repair a pair of beloved shoes by purchasing a tube of shoe glue and using a sparing amount, then holding the shoe together in my Dad's vice. Ratings are high for these boots, so I hope this won't happen to the rest of us. The soles are great for traction. You're not likely to slip and fall wearing these and you might want to wear them constantly--there is that risk. But enough of the practical stuff. The Alfredo sauce is ready and only one question remains: Can I wear these to bed? No, I didn't go that far. But wore them all day today and they're all I hoped for in a pair of boots. They required no break-in. The gray ones came today. Such a gorgeous shade of charcoal! Once again, they look much better in person. What took me so long? These boots are the winner! I'll wear them in the fall, winter and spring, then want to wear them in summer. ... show more

  • These are cute.
I bought these for my Freddy/Halloween costume. I really like the look of the boots. They are rich, deep in black color and not shiny. More like suede. Judging from others reviews, possibly a cheap material, or coating rather, that could easily scuff, peel or wear off. I feel as though, that these are pretty sturdy and I don't think it would be too much of an issue of wear n' tear, at least for me. Time will tell...as I just recently purchased these. But as far as "looking cheap", it differs on opinion. For $30, I think they're cute. They feel comfortable to wear for a long time out and comfortable to walk in, albeit, a little hard. They are a little stiff to my liking, but of course, that's with all boots I assume. That's what's to be expected. Of all boots I've tried in the past, these are pretty comfortable. I'm not much of a boot wearer. If I'm perfectly honest, I live in uggs and thick socks in all of the cold seasons. But I do think these will be amazing on rainy days. I love the buckle details on the back. I think that's honestly what sold me. That, and the side zippers. They are not deep pockets, but just enough to store your important cards and maybe some cash. I like that they are mid calf; not too high not too short. Just right. I think they compliment a wide variety of outfits for any season, especially the cold. They do have a fleece lining inside the whole boot, not just the ankle part. Love that. So be sure to size up should you want to wear thick socks in the fall/winter. It makes all the difference. Also, I absolutely love that you can make them tighter or looser to your liking. I chose these to be big on me on purpose and bought em big enough that I can slide my foot right in thru the top and don't even need to unzip. Tighten only if I want to. They are such ease to me. They are calf friendly and they don't offer wide sizes, but that's okay. I still really like them. One more note: Be gentle with the zipper in zipping them back up. It tends to snag a little. So I just be cautious as to not zip them down all the way to prevent them from coming off track or breaking. ... show more

  • Favorite boots EVER, adorable and comfortable -- fell apart after 2 (two) months. :(
Size: 11 Color: Classic Black
I've purchased these boots 4 times over the years. 4 times. They're incredibly comfortable for long stints, true to size, super adorable and don't take forever to break in. My first pair lasted almost 2 years! But after that, I was having to replace them every year or so because the sole detaches and tears beyond repair. I bought another pair at the end of October, and I had to retire them a week ago. I'm heartbroken. 2 months of moderate - not even daily wear - is crazy for the decline in quality. I love these cheap freakin boots so much that I'm considering paying a professional to fix and replace the soles, but I'm still on the fence over whether or not that's the dumbest idea I've ever had. Anyway, Pros: - cute - one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I've ever worn, ever, period - fun zipper = great place to stash an extra $20 that you'll forget about and retrieve only when you're really desperate for cab fare, or something Cons: - the crappy soles mean that on rainy days, you'll be walking around with wet socks long before you notice the tear in the rubber by the heel - lures you in with the comfort and style only to fall apart, and I mean literally disintegrate, anywhere from 2 years to 2 months in - broke my heart. these boots owe me alimony So in conclusion... these boots were much more solid quality in the past than they are now. They're probably better suited for occasional, very light fashion wear only, despite how deceptively solid they feel once on. ... show more

  • Buy them a half size bigger than you would for a tennis shoe.
Size: 6.5 Color: Classic Brown
Super warm and comfortable. The zipper is just a bit stiff, but nothing that a tiny bit oil won't fix. They feel durable and are easy to get on. I bought them in 6.5. This is my usual boot size with thick socks, but they also fit well with thinner socks. The laces make it easy to adjust the tightness or losseness of the fit to accommodate either type of sock. Haven't noticed any scuffing or slipping. The little side pocket is certainly big enough for cash or a card, though if you put a card in it, it is harder to fit in with the boots on. Nothing big, just something to consider if you plan to do this. Absolutely satisified with the quality for the price. ... show more

  • Stylish, comfy, and practical!
These boots are great!! Way better quality than I was expecting for such a good price. They are stylish, sturdy, and comfy all at once. Plus, they are so practical! The zip feature makes for quick on-and-off, plus the zip pocket is really handy and discreet. I was very surprised how well these held up in the snow when I forgot my snow boots, but my feet stayed dry after an hour of walking through the snow. Great boots. I'd consider getting a second pair in another color because I like them so much. ... show more
