  • Missing nut for casters Mattress so flimsy does not cover board
Color: Natural
Update: Great Customer Service received missing part. Need to buy an upgraded mattress at least 3”, tossed the one that came with the crib. Missing part and the 1” mattress is probably less then that and the foam is so flimsy that it won’t cover bottom board. It bunches up with properly sized sheets. Will need to purchase an actual mattress for safety reasons. Don’t know how they passed the safety testing with this mattress. ... show more

Ease and convenience of set up and use is easy. But, I have an unusually tall 18 month old granddaughter from her normal tall parents. Please pay attention to width and length when considering as a “staying at Grandpa and Grandma’s house for the weekend.” Otherwise, sturdy, convenient to put up, down and store. Folds flat easily for storage under a king or queen sized bed. ... show more

  • Latches under mattresses tray do not close completely
Color: White
The gold latches on either side of the crib rail, clothes, and latch tightly. The silver latches underneath the mattress Tray do not close completely. I feel as though the mattress is secure. As long as I don’t mobilize the crib and I keep it stable in one place. The silver latches underneath the mattress tray do fit in the hole. They just don’t lock down correctly. Overall, it’s a quality piece , and seems sturdy, and I like the size for my need. I did not like the mattress that it comes with, so I ordered a 3 inch mattress to fit this brand of crib. ... show more

  • Love the crib, but order a mattress!!!
Color: Natural
DONT plan to use the “mattress” that comes with this bed! I needed a smaller crib for grandson to visit so I could move it to the room I needed it in. It is a really cute smaller wood crib which is just what i wanted. Size wise it is great. Rolls right thru my doorways, and seems sturdy enough with the mattress in the lowest position. Not sure I would want to use it in the higher position just from looking at it, but havent tried that at all. The down side of this crib is the thin little flimsy piece of plastic covered foam that they called a ‘mattress’. It is so thin that when I tried putting the mini crib sheet on, the crazy thing would just roll up on the ends and sides and not lay flat in the bed No matter what I did. (Not sure if my pics show that very well, but I tried). I even tried a pack & play sheet and got the same results. There is no way I would put my kids or grandkids in the bed with the ‘mattress’ like that. That would not be safe at all! I am surprised no one else has mentioned that. (FYI...I had also ordered the sheet new, in the right size, and it was washed and ready to go, so it should have worked) It is literally like a plastic tablecloth with foam in it. Needless to say I went online today and ordered what I hope will be a good mattress for the bed. Overall, so far so good except for the mattress. ***Update this is the mattress I ordered and it works so much better with this crib. ** https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00342UIFI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ... show more

  • Updated 10/19/2021 - Missing pieces. Different instructions.
Color: Espresso
Update 10/19/2021: The crib is still in good condition with regular use. Some teeth marks here and there, so I'm happy we went with Espresso. We took it on vacation recently and the ease to fold up and store in the car was perfect; exactly what I was hoping for. Much better option than using a provided crib at a hotel or rental property. I was worried about the weight capacity for this crib and the longevity of it, but I have no fears. As it is sidecar to the master bed, the 80lb dog lays in it and there have been no repercussions. I don't advise doing your own test, but let's say the safety factor on this crib is pretty darn good. Original: The hardware packaging was received damaged, so we received no washers, missing nut, and broken wheel. Oddly the instructions received to assemble the crib are not the same as those listed in the description pdf. The instructions received don't call for the washers so hopefully everything will be ok. We will need to replace the nut which is not as bad as trying to repair a broken wheel. The crib pieces themselves are very nice quality. One of them does have a smell but this should fade with time. And I already planned to use a better mattress than what was received with the crib. Overall pretty good for there price despite the inconvenience. ... show more

  • Seems like a good secondary crib, particularly for the price
Color: White
I bought this because we want to keep our new baby in our bedroom for the first six months and will also be relocating during this period and didn't want to just use a Pack n Play for such a lengthy amount of time. The crib seems sturdy and well made and I think it will be just fine for what we need. There was a mark on the side which would have really irritated me had the crib been our main one or more expensive, but in this instance I didn't worry about it. The crib was a bit more complicated to put together than I would have thought but my husband (who is very handy anyway) was still able to put it together pretty easily. I haven't tried putting this in our car yet or moving it around though it seems like it collapses pretty easily. There were a lot of comments about the mattress that comes with this crib and I'd like to address them: from everything I have read, a thin, firm mattress is best for newborns. The mattress (more like a pad) which comes with this crib is actually much softer than I expected from the other reviews. However, for me the main problem is that it is so flimsy that sheets with elastic make it crinkle right up. Your options then become using this pad without any sort of cover or replacing the pad. We purchased the 3" extra firm Dream on Me mattress after a lot of thought because we wanted to be able to use sheets with the crib. (I have also written a review for that item.) Please note: if you are going to use this crib as a longer-term option than we are, I would suggest a different mattress than the one that comes with it because eventually it really will be too thin and uncomfortable and also the 3" mattress is NOT suggested by the manufacturer because it makes the base height higher than what is consider safe by whatever organization sets these guidelines. ... show more

  • A beautiful and well-made crib for small spaces or small budgets.
Color: Cherry
I was a little nervous about this purchase, based on the negative reviews, but it is a surprisingly sturdy, roomy, and well-made crib. All the hardware was sorted into blister packs on a cardboard backing and nothing was missing. The pre-drilled holes were mostly spot on - one pair was a little crooked, but there is no effect on functionality or safety. The finish is perfect. Where the two ugly stickers were on the side panels, furniture polish took off any sticky residue left after removal. The base is extremely sturdy and has two settings - a higher one for younger infants who can't roll over or push up, and a lower one for older babies. At the lower setting, it rests on a sturdy bar, but on the higher setting, it rests on just two plastic pegs. There are, however, latches under the board that slide into holes at both levels to lock it in place, so I don't anticipate having any trouble with it moving or collapsing. The thin foam mattress included would probably be fine, as I also use a lambskin for my babies, but I did get the three-inch coil spring mattress. It's a little thicker than recommended, but I'm not concerned about it. I also have a full-sized crib currently in use by my toddler, and I expect she'll be moved into a bed long before baby gets big enough to climb out of this one, My two year old tested this out for me. She's quite tall for her age and weighs about 35 pounds. The crib remained sturdy and stable in spite of her antics, but I think it would be possible for her to climb out or lean far enough over the rail to flip out, so keep that in mind if using it with an older baby. Even at her age and height, she wasn't crowded in this, which makes me wonder why ordinary cribs are so large! I also like that it folds up for storage later. It's not terribly compact, not like a pack-n-play, say, but it can be stowed in a larger closet or even under a bed. This is a beautiful, sturdy, and space-efficient option. ... show more

  • On The Fence.
Color: Espresso
Uncertain about this product right now for several reasons. 3 stars for now and this review will go up or down depending on what I find out in the next day or two. First of all, I didn't find it difficult to put together. I also noticed a lot of reviews are older and one would hope this product has improved since 2011-2014. Mine appeared to come with all the pieces, directions were pretty easy and straightforward. If you can't follow the pictures read them. It clears things up pretty fast. The only problem I had was with the toggles.on the base. One would go in the hole but wouldn't stay locked. BIG warning sign for me. If I keep this, it will definitely be reinforced. The second one I had to really maneuver to get it in the hole but at least that one locked. Because of the negative reviews about tipping over I intend to fasten this to my wall. Where my radar is going off is in the materials of this unit. Definitely nickel in all the hardware. I have a severe nickel allergy and I was physically sick, with a rash on my hands by the time I finished putting this together. My other concern is the paint. This crib does have a noticeably strong odor and as I said putting it together physically affected me. I have a headache and a sore throat for my efforts. Again, I do have a nickle allergy so it could be the nickel. That being said if there's something in the construction of this crib, whether it be hardware or paint, strong enough to make me feel ill putting it together, then what will it be like for a baby? I plan on washing it down thoroughly with an antibacterial and then sitting by it for awhile to see if I react again. This crib is presently set up in an empty guest room that I have been in and out of for days before this arrived with no reaction. As far as overall appearance, it's a decent looking crib. A little smaller than I thought it would be but it will work for the occasional visit from my granddaughter. It definitely has it's flaws if you look for them but nothing that makes me feel like it's going to fall apart. I can not in any way see how this crib collapsed with a child in it if it was put together and installed correctly. It's sturdy even with shaking and aside from the toggle that won't stay locked, does not appear to be in danger of collapsing. It's easy enough to reinforce just to be safe. So all in all it's a decent looking crib, putting it together was no problem, size I can live with but until I clean it really well and test the paint for lead I won't know if it's a keeper. Mattress is garbage and shouldn't even be classified as a mattress. It's a one inch polyurethane pad. I will update shortly. ... show more

  • Very Cute, Sturdy, Easy to assemble, and PRACTICAL!
Color: White
Our daughter's nursery doubles as a guest room (with sleeper sofa) so we didn't want a large, traditional, crib. Instead, I was looking for something that had clean lines and was very practical for her and us when friends/family came to visit but stayed in the room. She's now 6 months old (15 lbs and 25 3/4 inches long) so it was definitely time for her to move beyond sleeping in the bassinet and make the transition to sleeping in a crib. Living in a condo, we are always thinking about ways to maximize storage and save space. The fact that this crib could be rolled from the guest room/nursery, into our bedroom at night to ease the transition for our daughter was a HUGE ADVANTAGE. As for it's size, it's spacious in my opinion and should last her into early toddlerhood (2 - 2 and 1/2 years old perhaps). But, by then...she'll be making yet another transition to a toddler bed and we can simply fold this crib and pack it away until baby #2 needs to use it :) Right now, it's perfect for her and is a little longer than two and 1/2 standard size pillows placed side by side. I've included some pictures to give you an idea of the crib's length and width using household items (two pillows)--sometimes that's a better visual than just reading dimensions. Initially, we had the crib/mattress on the higher setting simply because we though about putting some cute storage bins underneath. There was plenty of room for that. But, suddenly we realized our daughter began to get curious and pull up against the sides to look over the rail! At 6 months old, she is SO MUCH MORE MOBILE than other babies her age. Seeing this, we quickly lowered it to the next (and lower) height. The pictures show the higher height though. The crib is sturdy and well made and we couldn't be happier with this purchase. ... show more

  • Great bed but a "better mattress" might cause you grief.
Color: White
Easy to assemble. Quality product. Very easy to move around. I LOVE that the crib rails have a plastic protective shield secured to them to protect the wood from wear. I think it's important to note that although many purchasers, including myself, purchased a thicker mini crib mattress (since the one that comes with it is basically packing material), the instructions and warning labels on this bed CLEARLY state not to use ANY mattress over 2 inches. Not knowing, I purchased the 5" innerspring mattress made by the same company (the manufacturer recommends using their mattresses with their beds) and it left at least a 2 inch gap all the way around. I was able to make bumpers to fill the gaps from egg crate foam and cloth then stretched the mattress pad over them and the mattress for a tight fit. Use of the 5" mattress alone in this bed would not have been safe. The mattress that comes with it, since this is advertised as portable and folds flat, is only about an inch thick at best and comparable to standard pack n play padding. It is wrapped in a soft-ish plastic liner. Mine arrived with a gash in the liner but since I did not plan to use it, it really has no bearing on my rating. If you decide to purchase a thicker mattress, you could use the one that comes with it to fill the gap.. I guess. A great foldable, portable, space saving bed that would get 5 stars if standard mini crib mattresses by the same company were safe to use. ... show more

I purchased it from online and it was very easy to assemble. Able to adjust the bed to 2 levels; higher level for a bassinet feel and the lower/deeper level for when your child can stand.
