I haven’t used a graphics tablet in a long time (my 85$ huion tablet broke after 1 year) so I decided to try this XP-Pen product instead and damn this is so good! It’s a fairly small tablet but the pressure and responsiveness are so good! I wish I had this tablet when I was starting digital art. My only complaint would be the buttons on the side of the pen but you can disable pen shortcuts. The pen is also lightweight and I found it really comfortable to hold. I was surprised at how nice the color options were and at this price you can’t go wrong. Drivers were simple to install through the XP-Pen website and I’ve had no issues so far. I am not sure how this tablet will hold up over time (every graphics tablet is different and the brands quality can affect its lifespan) but I don’t think this tablet will crap out or cause any issues anytime soon. ... show more

As a hobby artist with a much bigger tablet, I bought this to use on-the-go with my android. However, I've found myself using it at home to avoid the hassle of making room for the bigger one. This tablet is great for quick sketches and small drawings. I would not use it for paid work or large paintings. It doesn't come with an android compatible cord, so I'm waiting to test how it works with my phone, still. I'd also love hotkeys, but, well, you get what you pay for. (I'm not sure hotkeys would be android compatible anyways.) It's very small, but there's a lot of empty and unusable space on the sides and top. The only reason I'm taking a star off is that the extra unused space is a bit annoying if you wanted to travel with it. ALSO: other reviews have complained about the texture and scratches in the surface of the tablet. That's the protective cover. It has a dull look and papery feel. Peel it off, and the surface will be very typical for tablets in the lower price range. It does not scratch easily. ... show more

I needed a replacement for my old Wacom Bamboo so I decided to try this out, and for the most part, I like it. It's perfect for quick drawing while traveling and set up is fairly simple. The texture is really nice for drawing on and the cable is nice and long to connect easily to the computer. But there are a few small issues that do bug me about this tablet. First, the bar at the top doesn't do anything, so its a full inch of tablet thats useless. The pen is not duel-tipped, so there's no eraser end, meaning one of your buttons will need to be programmed as an eraser. There is also an issue with getting it to "pan" instead of scrolling. I was able to get the tablet to pan while I'm in PS after an hour of playing with settings, but online and in other programs, it won't pan. You also HAVE to have the XP Pen software open anytime you want to use the tablet, so on Macs, it constantly adds another icon to your dock. And any time you plug-in the tablet, the XP Pen settings window pops open over whatever you're working on. And when you unplug it, the same window pops up saying to "connect your device". It's particularly frustrating if you're in the middle of watching a video or reading something and that dialog box pops up. And customer support says that's just how the tablet works, so you can't stop the window from popping open all the time. But even with these issues, it's still not a bad tablet for the price. I would definitely recommend it as alternative to Wacom, especially if you're just starting out with drawing tablets. ... show more

This was essentially a plug and play device, though I later installed the required drivers and you get free access to drawing software with this. My 1 wish is that you could store or attach the pen to the device. I would recommend. Easy to use, I've been using it without reading the instructions...I'll read them eventually. ... show more
