This Drakkar spray is the real deal. almost half the price in the big retail stores but the same quality. The smell lasts at least 12 hrs on me and even though I can't smell it all day on myself; other people tell me how good I smell in the late evening after applying it in the early mornings. DO NOT BUY! This is a obviously a cheap knock off. Has extremely weak, unpleasant scent of something that is nowhere near Drakkar Noir. I've been using Drakkar Noir Eau De Toilettefor 15+ years. It has a very pleasant fragrance which last all day. I've always gotten many compliments & lady's wanting to know what it was & where to get it. Five minutes after spraying some of this on my wife could not detect I had applied any. While more expensive you would be much happier buying the genuine from Walmart. Since I cannot return I lose the money for a non usable, garbage product. ... show more

This can not be REAL Drakkar! The first time I sprayed this on, I indeed smelled that old familiar Drakkar scent- and the scent stayed with me. Ever since: Nada! The stuff is so weak, I spray it on, and LITERALLY 10 minutes later, NO ONE can even smell it. I don't get it! Did they load the spray tube with the real stuff, so that the initial spray would last, and then fill the rest of the bottle with a cheap immitation? Funny thing is, I used to wear a cheap knock-off of Drakkar- and I'd get compliments on it every time I wore it; and the scent would last for at least 4 or 5 hours. But this stuff isn't even a good knock-off, as no one can smell it, and I've never gotten one compliment on it. I don't think I'm goinmg to purchase fragrances online anymore- as it seems to be hit or miss- even on Amazon, as to whether you'll get the real thing or not. The reviews on this seemed to indicate that it would be real- but you never know who was the seller that a particular reviewer's bottle came from, as the sllers on a particular listing can vary, and even when sold directly by Amazon, the supplier can vary....so it is possible with stuff like this that different reviewers could be receiving products that originated in different places. Some may've gotten the real thing; I know I didn't. Plus too, a lot of the reviewers mention that they gave the product as a gift to someone... "My son-in-law loved it"- Yeah, like what's he gonna say "This junk smelled like rancid flatulence and lasted about as long"? ... show more

    • Scent wears off faster than the department store stuff

The scent wears off fast. I don't know if this is truly diluted with extra alcohol like I've read from others, but the scent does evaporate quickly. The more expensive Drakkar I purchased from the department store lasted all day and I could even smell it on my laundry days later when I was about to do the wash. I can't smell this on my laundry at all and when I put it on, it doesn't seem to last more than an a couple hours. This didn't seem like a knock-off...I mean the bottle was numbered and the number on the box matched the bottle's so it seemed legit, but I don't know. I thought I'd save money by purchasing this on-line, but in my case I guess I got what I paid for. I'll give it two stars because it does smell nice, but I wish it would last as long as the department store Drakkar. ... show more

Hmmm.... I remember being in love with the Drakkar smell. Sooooo... I decided to purchase. I am a big fan of sandalwood. I have purchased Drakkar before and remember that it had strong warm presence primarily do to the sandalwood I am thinking. That being said.... I recently bought Drakkar. The good news? Longevity is amazing! Bad news! The bottle that I received has a loud, obnoxious smell!. It is not the subtle, sexy sandalwood smell that I remembered. Oh!!!! It projects for miles away and it lasts all day. The scent however is indescribable in a bad way. Ohhhhhhh! Here is the kicker! I was not initially going to return it, but at last minute decide that I should go ahead and return it as I am not happy. Just learned! From Amazon... Item not returnable! I have had it less that a week. I should have figured the possibility because it is cologne so once it is opened it is likely not resellable. But at the same time, there should have been some type of recourse for receiving a bad product. I have worn Drakkar before so I do not think it is truly the product. I just think it is the bottle that I received. Soooooo.... Lesson learned. Will I buy again this item from Amazon? Well.... it is not looking good for Amazon! lol ... show more

Bought this to make a statement when I walk into a room. Statement was supposed to be, I AM HERE. KNOW MY SCENT. ABSORB ME IN YOUR PORES. However, this perfume must’ve come from Tur’s tomb. Far past it’s time, the scent was barely noticeable. It seemed to evaporate off my skin and my hoodie before my nose had a chance to get there for a sniff. Statement of this cologne is: IM THE INVISIBLE MAN. DONT NOTICE ME. There are no returns either- despite noting this package came with an expiration date of something like 11 years ago- which makes sense now, because I suspect someone knows perfectly well that they’re pedaling water in a bottle. I smelled the cap and swore they changed the formula. Found people on the Internet (that are WAY too into this) that backed up my thinking. The next day I sprayed some on and it smelled just as I remembered in the 90's. Must need that atomization. I don't wear this stuff much, but every once in a while I'll don my black leather coat, put on the Vision Quest soundtrack, and have a shot of aftershock.
