I got these as a gift along with the wine glasses from the same series. Both look good. They may not look as iridescent as pictured in every light but it is noticeable and great for certain aesthetics. However there seems to be a strange difference in material between the two. These mugs feel less like high quality glass, I am not sure if it is a quirk of the thickness or shape but they do not 'feel' as nice. Huge mistake terrible letdown not good quality at all. Not dishwasher safe and it began to flake on my wife while she was drinking it so I don’t know if she drank the coloring but I thought that it was glass but it’s obviously cheaper than that I would not buy this product.     • My Favorite Coffee Mugs *with a caveat*
The media could not be loaded. These are my favorite coffee mugs! I LOVE when my husband brings me coffee in one. However, after 7 months of use the handle cracked a tiny bit (no idea how but the glass is very thin at the connection point!) and now water/coffee leaks through into the insulated part. That being said - I still repurchased because they are great. Pros: Hands stay cool and coffee stays warm! These cups are not only my favorite because of the look but they are practical too. I’m able to hold a freshly poured cup of coffee without burning my hands and the coffee tends to stay warmer longer than a typical cup. The design of the cup (size and shape) are perfect for cradling in your hands and snuggling in to the couch. Also you can pour a huge cup of coffee into it! Cons: Seems to be a design flaw that a tiny crack at the handle would cause water to collect inside the inner walls. That being said, I still repurchased! These cups are just so fun and would make a great gift for yourself or someone else! ... show more
