Does the pencil holder have magnet on it? No, the pencil holder is a single metal plate. Please note it does NOT have magnet on it. So the magnetic attachment strong or weak, it has nothing to do with the pencil holder itself. It is up to magnetic attraction of your iPad or magnetic cases. Is the pencil holder compatible with Apple Pencil USB-C? Yes, it works with Apple Pencil USB-C. There will be a small gap in the holder after installation as the length of Apple Pencil USB-C is 11mm (0.43 inches) shorter than that of the holder. Please confirm if you will mind about this before purchase. If the Apple Pencil is included in the package? No, the Apple Pencil is NOT included. If the pencil holder is compatible with Logitech Combo Touch? Yes, the pencil holder works with Logitech Combo Touch, but as the size of the holder is a little bit bigger than the pencil space of the Combo so it won't completely attach perfectly. It still works but just keep in mind. What is the included removable sticker strip for? It is optional to use. Better than I expected! It is not magnetic, but it is pretty close! It naturally attaches to the inner wall of my Magic Keyboard and perfectly fits the keyboard color. The holder also works well for using it to open the keyboard for iPad access. My pencil says it’s connected and I’m trying to make it show the charging display where I saw the percentage of the pen on the initial placement. It is good quality and the door in the middle makes the removal of the pen quite efficient. As a 47-year-old professional who uses my iPad Pro daily—for work, travel, and everything in between—this pencil holder is one of those “why didn’t this exist sooner?” accessories. If you use the Magic Keyboard, you already know the biggest flaw: there’s no secure place to store the Apple Pencil. Toss it in a bag and it’s guaranteed to get knocked loose, lost, or drained. This holder completely solves that problem. It attaches cleanly, holds the Pencil securely, and still lets me use the Magic Keyboard exactly as intended. The Pencil stays put when traveling, but it’s also easy to grab when I need it—no fumbling around in a bag or worrying if I left it behind. Installation was simple and intuitive, and it feels sturdy without adding bulk. I love that I can finally carry my iPad and Pencil together as one functional setup, especially when I’m on the go. This product works great for keeping my Apple Pencil safe when it's attached to my iPad. There were times when my Apple Pencil would get knocked off when I have my iPad in my backpack and sometimes while carrying it. There are some other Apple Pencil holders that required you to use 3M tape to attach it to the back side of your case. I did not want to use that method because when you decide to take it off, it will peel the finish off of your case. This one just slides in between the iPad and the case. I tried it on several of my iPads. It works on my iPad Mini 5 using the Apple Slim case, iPad Pro 11, and iPad Pro 12.9 M1. It magnetizes to the back of the iPad on all 3 of those devices when I remove it from the case. I tried it on the new iPad Pro 13 M4. It'll work, but when you remove the iPad from the keyboard case it falls off. The magnets for the new iPad are in a different location than previous iPads. They included stickers that you can use to tape it in place for those models. I also like that I'm still able to charge my Apple Pencil while using this product. While the new Apple Pencil Pro has a strong magnet, the older Apple Pencil 2 for my old iPad is so weak that I constantly knock it off. Sometimes, I lose it for days. This Dracool Apple Pencil holder looked like the best option to me for use with my Apple Magic Keyboard, and I like it, but with one caveat: I found the tab for pushing and prying the pencil out of the holder NOT effortless to use. I agree with other reviewers, it was a 2-handed operation. So, I took a look at how my Zugu iPad case works - a fantastic case, but not used with a keyboard. It holds the pencil securely, while still letting you grab it without resistance. Based on that design, I picked up a pair of scissors, mustered some guts, and, in 2 seconds, snipped off the silly tab that was supposed to push the pencil out. Phew, it worked. You can see my modification in my photo. The pencil holder works perfectly for me now. I can grab my pencil one-handed and have not experienced any downside from my modification. ... show more

I'm not the first person to say it but the little tap they have for pushing out the pen actually makes it way harder to get out. Just take a utility knife and careful cut off the tab so you are pushing the pen out with your finger and the holder works perfect. Other than that it feels well made and holds in place really well. I also don't notice any bulk or gap between the case and iPad (iPad Smart Folio on 11" M4 iPad Air) which I was originally worried about. 4 stars because you need to modify it out of the box. 5 starts once it's modified though. ... show more

I have mixed feelings about this product because it does the job and seems well made, but it attaches differently that I thought it would. I wanted to attach this to my magic keyboard case for my iPad. When I got it, I realized that it attaches using sticky-pad things, I assumed it would use a magnet. I specifically wanted a pencil holder that attached to my keyboard case, NOT my iPad, and the description didn't really make that clear. I didn't want to put stickers on my iPad and have the holder connected to my iPad. Idk how it would hold up attaching it to my iPad, but attaching it to the keyboard case was a little iffy - it has held up so far but I feel like it will fall off after awhile, even though I used all of the adhesive stickers it came with. Great little add-on/must-have for Apple iPad to secure your iPad Pencil for charging and storage. It’s been a lifesaver for me since without this holder my Pencil would frequently get knocked off the iPad magnetic edge and get lost. Holder stays firmly in place and it’s easy to pop the pencil in for charging. Getting the pencil out was a bit of a challenge initially since it would catch against the edge of the iPad when I pushed against the flexible section on the back of the holder. This was easily resolved when I realized I could just tug the holder out away from the IPad a bit so the pencil clears the iPad’s edge when pushed from behind. ... show more

After getting my “magic” keyboard I realized there is no place for my “magic” pencil, which I would hate to lose and don’t want to carry separately. I found this and it’s worked out perfectly. You have 2 options, one is to just slide it between your iPad and keyboard case, the other is to use the supplied adhesive to stick it to the back of your iPad. I opted for the adhesive because I am constantly pulling my iPad off the keyboard and need to keep the pencil with it. The adhesive is plenty strong, and after a few failed attempts I got better at removing the pencil (need to push at the back center to pop it out). My pencil is charging well, no issues. Very happy and I can sleep well knowing that my dear pencil is tucked safely away. ... show more
