    • Sturdy f& economical fits the large vision grills too
Easy to assemble, seems to be much much more study than original vision base was. I bought a new vision grill in 2018 and the wheels broke through the cheap pot metal that the original cradles were made of. This new base seems to be made out of much thicker steel than the original thin metal that the vision grills had from the factory. The large vision eggs are over 200 lbs, so you'll have to use some sort of winch or engine block cherry picking type jack system. In my case I used a racheting cable winch, and attached to an over head beam i had in my shop. Anyway, keep in mind, it is almost impossible to lift one of these eggs out of cradle without help of some sort of hoist or winch. ... show more

Heavy duty. Holds our large Green Egg which freed up a ton of space on the patio since this replaced a huge table that held it. It has very substantial wheels and the frame is very sturdy. Wheels able to lock. No issues with assembly.

Fit my large green egg well. Stable platform and wheels work well. Only complaint is leg placement makes complete removal of screen and solid vent on bottom impossible without pulling out entire egg.

My Vision Grill cart broke after 3 years - the casement for the wheels bent. I ordered this product without really knowing if it would fit and it is better than the original. Assembly took about 20 mins and then me and my son lifted the grill into place and it fit like a glove!. The cart is sturdy and easier to move than the original. This egg nest works great. The wheels are of good quality and roll very well. The wheel locks on two of the wheels are perfect for holding the grill in place!

10 yr old L egg; casters gave out and needed a solution pronto. So heavy to move and maybe could have revived the old casters... asked myself it is was worth it. Bought this as a backup, and I would do it 10 times over. Better construction/bolts. Wheels were awesome (not sure what they will do in 10 yrs, but darn thing started rolling in the driveway immediately after transfer to new nest). TIP: Get one of those oversized plant pot movers and loosen it up all the way in order to pick up the egg from the old nest. Also, remove all of the guts of the egg (carefully). I left the lid and trays on the unit. It wasn't too bad picking up (and i also took the opportunity to replace the aluminum vent on the bottom which really needed a thorough cleaning; this is hard to do while in the standard nest OR this replacement/upgrade). TIP2: Strategically scream DRAKARYS like a G.O.T. extra during the project. Your family will be so impressed but will know it is required for the next bbq extravaganza. ... show more
