My Brother MFC-L2750DW printer is about 4 years old and recently the quality of prints was getting very poor even with new toner replacement. I considered about buying a new printer, however, I decided to replace the original drum with the DR730 drum unite that I bought through Amazon since it seemed like good value for the money. The drum I installed was perfectly compatible with my printer with excellent printing quality. After using it for about 2 months, I am pleased with the results of my purchase especially the new drum gave my old printer a second lifecycle rather than going to landfill. Ordered this product and it was delivered quick! Installation was easy. I was skeptical as the product is much cheaper than the brand name option I purchased last but the reviews were good so I decided to test it out. I took the item out of the box, and as you can see, it looks very high quality. After installation, I tested out some test pages to see if also performed to my expectations. I was very happy with the result. Keep in mind this does not come with the toner. For a fraction of the cost, I would say this was a good purchasing choice. I would recommend. Don't waste your time. Every time I think I can get away with paying less money for a generic product, I get exactly what I pay for. The drum worked for about 10 pages. After that, it looked like it had gone through 15,000. You could see the wear on the drum after only a few pages printed. There were 2 drums in the box so I tried the other one to see if maybe it was just a one off. Nope, the second one was the same way. Never again. I returned them and bought a brother. May have been more expensive, but at least it was no hassle and worked as expected. ... show more
