We got these because a heatwave was coming and the curtains we had didn’t do enough for the heat. These though are amazing. They make a huge difference. These curtains block 100% of sunlight (passing through). Obviously, some light filters in from the sides since the edges are not flush with the surrounding wall, but for me, it is the right amount of light in the morning. Before getting these curtains, I routinely wore an eye mask in the morning, but now it's no longer necessary. The curtains also noticeably dampen the traffic sounds from a nearby street. Note that "white" curtains have a slightly bluish tint to them. I would call the color "light lavender" rather than "white". ... show more
