Scent: Lumberjack Lather
I decided to try out this Dr. Squatch 5-bar variety pack, and I’m never going back to regular soap again. These bars are awesome. Scents: Each one smells great—manly without being overpowering. Pine Tar is probably my favorite because of the exfoliating grit, but Bay Rum and Cedar Citrus are close seconds. Honestly, they all smell amazing. Lather & Feel: The lather is legit. It’s thick, creamy, and makes you feel super clean without drying out your skin. My skin feels better overall—less itchy and more hydrated. Natural Ingredients: Knowing this soap is all-natural is a bonus. No weird chemicals, just good stuff that doesn’t irritate my skin. Worth It: The bars last a decent amount of time if you keep them dry between uses, and the variety pack keeps things interesting. My shower smells like a forest, and my wife keeps telling me I smell amazing, so that’s a win. If you’re on the fence, just get it. It’s a solid upgrade from whatever you’re using now.

Recently we started changing one by one everything we use in our family and it has bad ingredients. We were looking in the market and decided to try it Dr. Squatch. We are amazed both of us my husband and I we like them so much. You can use it on every type of skin, every one of them smells amazing, and after we take a shower our whole apartment smells from the soup. We will use this soap a long time. So if you are looking something with better ingredients this is it, you will not be disappointed.

This is a nice little soap set although I didn't think much of the basil peppermint bar so I regifted it to someone. The rest of them are really nice and I'm glad I ordered them. They seem to be pretty long lasting I wouldn't say it's the gentlest soap I've ever used. Probably a little expensive for what it is.

Scent: Mossy Retreat
Recently I've been really trying to pay attention to what I put in and on my body. And in that regard, the Squatch brand came highly recommended for the personal hygiene department. At first, when I was making the purchase, I was a little overwhelmed by all the scent choices. As a typical man, I didn't put too much thought into soap before. Soap was soap. So I just picked one of the 5-bar variety packs. Of course, the first thing you want to do though once receiving the box is "I want to smell them". And I was pleasantly surprised, and was looking forward to my next shower. So let's start with the scent then. Of the 5 flavors, here is my ranking from most to least favorite: 1) Wood Barrel Bourbon (WBB), 2) Coconut Castaway (CC), 3) Gold Moss (GM), 4) Birchwood Breeze (BB), 5) Fresh Falls (FF). And it's not like I didn't like FF. It just reminded me more like a standard soap smell. Whereas all the other scents felt more earthy or exotic. I asked my wife to smell too. So for her opinion, I did not get a complete ranking. But her most favorite was also the WBB. And her least was the GM. So anyway, WBB is the front runner in this house. Moving on. The next thing I did was review the ingredients. I use an app that scans the product and tells me, because there's no way I'm going to research each thing myself. So all 5 bars had high rankings. But it was interesting to find BB and CC had slightly lower marks due to the inclusion of titanium dioxide. The app labels this as low risk, and I'll let you look that up for the details. But the other 3 bars did not have it. So again, WBB comes out on top for me. Moving on. I have not been able to use all of them. But of course, I went straight for the WBB. Again it smells so good when I step into the shower. I can smell it even before starting to scrub. It seems to lather good. No complaints there. The first couple uses, it felt smooth on the skin. As it starts to wear down, I started to feel a bit of the grit in the soap. I don't find this as a bad thing. Just noticeable. Also, I think it wears down faster than normal soap. Could be why buying 5 bars at a time is the way to go. (As I thought at first, man, 5 bars of soap will last me a long time. But probably not now at this rate.) Also, the shape was odd to me. The square instead of the standard rectangular shape. It sat awkwardly in my soap dish for a bit. Until it wore down. Neither of those things is enough to mark any points off though. I am thoroughly happy with this soap. I look forward to trying more flavors. And I look forward to trying more Squatch products overall.
