I got slapped with some serious foot pain last summer; it stretched on for months, me hobbling about on it, before I finally saw my doc about it. I was sure I would need surgery, but was told, "No, you need to get a golf ball and some plantar fasciitis insoles." The golf ball is used to roll around under foot to stretch the internals of that foot while the insoles- Hey. I put 'em in my shoes as soon as they arrived and I could get them out of the package and within days, I was walking about more normally and with lessened pain! Will this be YOUR experience? The doc said it would be mine and was right. The insoles fit nicely into my shoes AND are-Well, they're just pleasant to wear! My feet almost instantly felt great. I've tried these out a couple of times and they seem OK. However, I'm still trying to figure out which sneaker these work best with.. I've been using them with my Nike Airs which are already on a slight incline and I think it's overly supportive because I'm feeling slightly uncomfortable on my problem foot. I think I'll get the most out of these insoles if used with a flat sneaker (like Air Force One's or other fashion sneaker). Since they are very firm and supportive (and less cushiony than the NASA insoles I love), that support will come in handy with a flat sneaker. I'll try that next! I wear size 14 shoe and I got to the point to try anything to rid the pain in my feet. These are a size to small but they help relieve the pain and that is a big plus. They fit in my shoes comfortably and I do not notice the size difference. I am on my second pair now and they are still helping with the pain.
