I bought these shoes in early June 2024. Th purpose was to have comfortable but cute shoes to wear on a cruise. I started wearing them early to "break them in." It really was not necessary. These shoes were comfortable on day one. The sole has great cushion and a spring to it that makes everyday walking comfortable. Your feet feel very secure, having well made, expandable straps across the top, as well as a zipper behind. The real test was the cruise, and Mother Nature was in on this one. It was a stormy cruise, so many times, I felt the ship's movement, and the deck was almost always wet. At no point did I even feel like I was losing my balance. When we got off the ship, it rained. At some points, while crossing streets, my feet were submerged in water, but the straps held. I loved how the back of the shoe held my heel in, even while my feet were underwater. I expected to come home and possibly toss out the shoes that had been ruined by all of the walking through puddles. It did not happen; these shoes feel as secure as day one. The platforms are just right for me, although they do have flat ones if you desire those. The straps do not adjust but are clearly constructed in a way that they accommodate average to wide feet, I think. Now, they are not 6 inch stilettos, so if you like shoes that will get you into the MET Gala, these are not it. Bought bc I needed something raised with arch support that I could walk in all day. Wore it out all day walking for 3 days and My feet were so happy. Exactly what I needed. Fit it good. Seems it will last and great quality materials.

The shoes are very well made and have a comfortable cushion. It feels soft when you walk. They are easy to put on and the zipper on the back easily zips up. However, they do not come in wide so if you have wide feet, I would steer clear of these. My feet are wide and I still decided to wear them (not a good idea) as they will start to hurt after a few hours due to the tightness. As I approach 50, wearing heels no longer appeals to me. These were cute enough and most importantly, comfortable enough to get me through the night at in all black events. I was able to keep them on all night without having to put on my slippers that we know we all carry in our large purse.

These shoes are pretty comfy. But I don't know why the texture on the soles is so rough. Omg the blisters I got. I put moleskin on the bottom of my feet but didn't use a big enough piece so anywhere there wasn't moleskin I got blisters. Idk maybe I just don't have enough callous or something. I'm foolishly going to keep them and hope for the best next time I wear them because the cushion is comfy ... show more
