Purchased PawPaw balm to see if it would help with my constantly dry, easily torn cuticles. There has been improvement over the past week. Needs a little time to work in after application, so I don’t touch any books until dry.

Pros: Great price for the size/amount of product, good at treating dryness in general, no petroleum jelly/petrolatum Cons: Pretty average for a lip balm, texture is like a very light vaseline consistency, doesn’t stay on for as long as I would prefer Final thoughts: I would still repurchase this product. The price and size are just too good. I like it as an every day lip balm. I would prefer something that is light enough as a lip balm but also can be applied in a thick layer as a lip mask. This can’t do that. It’s works well for general dryness or dry patches though, so I’m not too bummed that it can’t perform like a lip mask. Overall a very average lip balm, if that’s what you’re looking for.

I want to start by saying that my holy grail lip balm has been Vaseline rosy lips lip therapy for a few years now. It smells really nice, doesn’t have a strong or offensive flavor, lasts a long time, and acts as a nice lip mask when I wear it overnight. However, I find the Dr. Pawpaw soothing balm to be very similar, but works more effectively than Vaseline. It has a slightly thicker consistency, lasts a little bit longer on my lips, and I find it to be more nourishing/soothing than the Vaseline. I appreciate that it doesn’t have a scent for the days I have a headache and I don’t need a strong scent aggravating it. The best thing is how large the tube is! It’s so much product, and offers a much cleaner application than scooping Vaseline out of its little pot. Like the title says, I think this is a more sophisticated take on Vaseline lip therapy because of the ease of application, better wear time, and makes my lips feel more conditioned in the long run. This is now my holy grail lip product, and I would strongly suggest this to anybody who isn’t sure about it.

I have suffered from chronic chapped lips for most of my life. I have spent so much money on high-end lip creams and balms as well as treatments prescribed by my doctor. All of them provided minimal, temporary relief. A friend mentioned this balm/ointment to me. I was shocked by the affordability, I thought why not try it? It is miraculous. My lips haven't been this good in 20 years. The product isn't heavy or greasy and has no taste. I put it on and I do not need to reapply for hours. Through food and drink, it stays on and heals and conditions.

I have tried everything for my dry hands and cuticles. I work with products that dry my hands out so much, nothing has helped. My thumbs literally bleed and I experience so much pain with the drying out of my cuticles. Dr. PawPaw is amazing and does the job. I have much improvement since I have begin using this product. The very next morning I could feel the difference as well as see the difference. Highly recommended!!!!!

I loved the balm and scrub pot version of this I got so when I ran out of the balm I ordered this! Its the same but different, the tube texture is a little different than the pot's texture. No complaints about either product just was expecting the exact same.
