I absolutely LOVE these heeled Docs. I have a pair of the Chelsea boots from a few years ago I bought at a Dr. Marten store and they are great but sometimes I want some height and these are the perfect answer!! SUPER comfortable, even at the ankle although I would recommend a high sock/tights/etc until they have been worn a few times to make sure they don't rub the skin raw. Docs are notoriously heavy and these are, so keep that in mind if you have never worn this type of boot or are trying to pack light haha. I have worn these with pants/jeans/dresses/skirts and they look great every time. Driving in these is fine for me but I know people that struggle with all the shoe...like you aren't going to "feel" the pedal so well because they're chunky so keep that in mind. Walking and standing in them is very comfy for me, I have been to concerts, walked all over and these are great. The actual heel hight is excellent for me and feels very comfortable (I am 5'5"). I was a little weary ordering from Amazon but they seem to be authentic and have held up great and I expect many years of wear from them. Take good care of them and they will last! ... show more

I got these early in the morning, i immediately put them on and wore them around the house, and then through the day easily. Theyre a little heavier than what I'm used to; the soles are stiff but comfortable. The leather upper is softer and not as thick as i would have expected. I would highly recommend them. They appear to be durable, I'll update if there's any surprises. I sometimes wear 11, and sometimes a 12 in women's sizes and these fit me well in size 11. SIZE DOWN! I am a solid 6-6.5 in shoes. My other docs are size 6. I had to get these in a 5, because even with thick wool socks I was slipping down towards my toes when I purchased true to size. . So yes, size down for best fit. They are comfortable out of the box but they are docs so there will be a break in period. ... show more
