I'm a size true 8 and would say these fit longer. Maybe an 8.5? I was going to return them to go down a size, but decided these were fine. I like the wiggle room and they don't slip at the heel because the straps hold your foot very securely in place. They are quite comfortable and feel nice against my bare feet. It's DM so they are well made. A downside, but not at all unexpected, is they are quite heavy. Great for going out as long as you aren't walking more than a block at one time. Even though a little heavy, they were REALLY comfortable. Unfortunately my heel is narrow, and while the shoe fit my foot, my heel just slipped out the back with every step. I was so disappointed to have to return them.

Super cute Doc Martens Mary Janes. My wife has a wide foot and got a half size smaller. She tried on the old school Doc Marten t-straps and they did not work but saw these and immediately fell in love with them as they made of a very soft leather with a stylish platform but very confrontable right out of the box..
