If you’ve bought Dr. Martens before you know that they tend to run big. I’m usually a 6.5 in tennis shoes and a 7 in dressier shoes, but have to get a 6 in Dr. Martens. And if you bought Dr. Martens 15 years ago, know that they aren’t the same quality they once were (such is life, I know). They feel much cheaper, and I’m sure they won’t hold up nearly as long, but they’re still cute and decently comfortable. ... show more

Sandals, flats, and anything cute can be hard to find for my feet which look about what I’d imagine Fred Flintstone’s feet to look like- wide with not much of an arch. Knowing that Doc Martin’s boots can be comfortable once you wear them in, I wanted to give these a shot, and I’m glad I did. They have been comfortable from the first wear. I ordered my usual size, which is an 8, I agree that the shoes run slightly larger. If my feet weren’t so wide I could have gone with a 7. Luckily, both straps around the ankle are adjustable and I was able to bring them down to the last buckle and they fit just slightly loose around my ankle which isn’t uncomfortable. The straps that go around my foot however, fit perfectly. Only time will tell how they last, but they seem and feel very well made. I’d definitely buy these again ... show more

I bought these for my daughter. I had bought a different pair for her for half the price and when they arrived, the quality was very poor and they were not comfortable. The price dropped a little bit on these so I decided to just get them for her. I have not regretted that choice! She will wear them and love them and they go with EVERYTHING.
