I have worn Docs most of my life- one because I love the look, two they are easy to wear with AFOs, and three they are incredibly durable! I gifted my oldest niece my retro docs when she was a teenager and my baby niece now a teenager and showing more personality traits like me & my oldest niece, I rolled the dice and bought her these. Words literally can’t express the joy I felt seeing the look on her face when she opened them!! She literally lit up brighter than the Christmas tree- and I don’t know if you know this but teenage girls are so hard to read. That message was loud and clear she LOVED them!! They fit perfectly. I absolutely love these boots! I saw them on the official Dr. Marten's site, but I didn't want to pay the full price. I was a little nervous about buying them because a couple of years ago, I bought the 1460 Mono boots directly from Dr. Marten's, and sadly, one of the boots had a defect. I didn't know it until much later because they were my first ever DMS. They're sold out now, so I was super happy to find them on Amazon! They got delivered to my neighbor's house, which has been happening more frequently this year, and it's been stressful. When I first tried them on, they felt a bit narrow. (I have wide feet) Just like any other DMs, they needed to be broken in. To break them in, I used Wonder Balsam, which I had already bought from the Dr. Martens site. I wore two layers of socks and walked around my house in them for about an hour a few times a week. When I wasn't wearing them, I would use a boot stretcher, which helped a lot! They no longer feel narrow and are much more comfortable now! I recently wore them out when I went to enjoy the festival in my local town. I wore a pair of double-doc socks from Dr. Martens, just in case. I did a lot of walking, and there was no pain or blisters!

Great Leather Boot however this particular one was narrow. I purchased a size down as the 8’s I bought were too big. Unfortunately did not work for me thus could not use and returned them. The boots are great.

I have wanted Doc Martens for 30 some years and finally treated myself with a check my sistet sent me for christmas. I had heard they take a while to break in but these felt like they were made for my feet from the get go. And they are beautiful with the roses embroidered into the leather! I am over the moon!
