The 8-eye Combs is based on our Original 1460 lace up boot, and comes with amplified Docs DNA: scripting that extends from the heel loop all the way down the heel cap.

Probably one of the most comfortable pair of boots I have had right out of the box. I ordered a half size larger than my usual size because my size wasn't available and they are a perfect fit. Definitely be getting another pair.

Very nice! These are PVC with a sort of matte waffle texture. Formed pretty rigidly on the toe, but not uncomfortable.. my toes aren't banging into the end. However, I recommend thick socks or a heel protector for that little half size difference on the heel.. they are roomy but a little boxy and hard, rubbing a bit back there. Handsome look and glossy black sole. A little too heavy for dancefloor or retail work (though not as heavy as original Docs) but good for hiking and travel. You could def kick something, stub your toe or trip and your foot would be well protected. They are glued, not stitched, but look sturdy. Basically got these for summer hiking because I didn't want a boot that looked like a potato, but I think they will be good for most weather. These should be good for most terrain, though I will try not to get them wet.. will report back! With light orthotics or inserts they should fit perfectly. ... show more
