I just got these today. Since I tried a few Combs boots on in the store, I knew that I had to SIZE DOWN to a 7 when my normal sneaker and boot size is 8.5. That's a big jump imo but whatever. They fit well and hug my slightly narrow foot nicely. I just took them for a 40 minute walk with the dog and there was almost no discomfort. They aren't big and clunky which I like- I wanted a boot that was more every day, that I could wear to work and that would hopefully be ok for short periods in the never-ending Seattle winter rain. They aren't advertised as being waterproof or water-resistant, but I plan on spraying them with something. For longer outings and heavier rain I can always wear my Danner Viscious boots. Obviously I can't comment on durability or how well they do in the rain or how good the traction is yet, but I will try to remember to update this review in a few months. ... show more
