These are my first DR MARTENS. I am so glad that this brand has many options & styles because out of the more popular shiny ones they have , these are the ones that fit my style. They're very comfortable to wear all day, have enough room for those w/ wider feet. I would say they they're durable & heavy duty as I have had them for about a year & have used them in almost every weather conditions including rain! During the course of that year I have had to do some running w/ it so they can also be considered flexible. I would not making these your running shoes though, lol. The color & style I went w/ is "Matte Black" , one can barely tell these are DR MARTENS. & if they can, they're subtly the best ones! I owned a pair of brown 1460 Doc Marten boots in the 1990s as a young cable man. They served me well every day for ten years. Who knows what happened to them. I wish I still had them. These boots here are of similarly excellent quality. I walk hard and fast all day long on a concrete floor. The boots are roomy and comfortable. These boots are very light and comfortable for all day wear. Probably one of the more easy boots to wear, you still need some break in but nothing that's gonna hurt. This leather is very sensitive to marks so definitely invest in some leather conditioner and protector. Other than that no complaints overall worth the purchase ... show more

I took a chance and bought these on sale. I wasn't sure about the material at first, it's almost like a soft, oiled, matte finish. After wearing them for a few months, I can state that these were an excellent choice for me. I tend to get alot of scuffs and they buff right out on this material. No break in period either. I did use the DM conditioner and another DM product for weather proofing before wearing them. I am very happy with the results and they still look new. I think these will last a long time with continued care. I wear a women's 10 and that is what size I purchased. They are a little big but I don't think they would have fit to my liking if I sized down to 9. I vary wearing thin and thick socks. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was super excited for my first pair of Doc marten boots. When they came they were without original box or tag. They look and smell new but has some creases. Not sure if they were tried on or something. I’m an over thinker so kind of sucks, what if they are not real? I tried them on and they look good and feel good. Also got the yellow laces on the side. Got them cheaper than their original price so I can’t complain. Mixed reviews for this boot on here but for the most part this boot is over 4 stars. Let’s see in a few months how they go since some buyers say they are falling apart after 6 months. ... show more
