Description

The 5-eye Church Monkey Vintage Smooth Boot is from our Archive Collection. Created by looking into Dr. Martens archive for design inspiration, this style has been replicated to look as it was when first manufactured. The specification on leather, color and method of manufacture is precise. More traditional biscuit-backed leather has been used, color-matched to archive samples that came out of the factory in the earlier days of Dr. Martens. Laces are flat and cotton, exact copies of the original versions found.

Love these monkey church boots. They look awesome and give me about 2 inches in height. From the side the coloring hides that they are platform boots as well. I wear a 9.5-10 US ans have wide feet. The 9 brand size fits. I did add some heel pads as I wore them for a 1 mile walk out of the box and ended up with blisters on the heels. These shoes are so comfortable. There is no break in peried!!!!!! Yay!! Just wear your regular crew sock, I you be fine. It's right at ankle or below depending on ankle size. I wear a US 7. I normally wear a women's size 8-8.5. I ordered a US L 8 as they didn't have half sizes. That was WAY too big. US L 7 fit perfectly. Keep in mind they will stretch a bit as you break them in. This was my first pair of Docs - size down a full size! I’m typically a size 10, and even the 9 is a bit big, where I’ve had to add half size inserts to help. Love them though!
