I was very indecisive of which size to get. I’m a true 8.5 in women’s and of course doc martens don’t have half sizes. I decided to purchase a 9, which is the first picture. I fell immediately in love with them, wearing them for about a week but was annoyed by how much length there was and also how the buckle kept falling all the way down. I went as far as to buy a leather hole puncher tool to further tighten the buckle, but it didn’t work. I kept thinking that it was still the right choice, believing that the 8 would be way too snug since I’m a genuine 8.5. It’s very hard to find this style in person to try on, but I did end up finding them and tried the 8 on. (The second picture) I was very shocked to find that they fit like a glove! I hated that I listened to the reviews and didn’t get the size which I usually get to begin with in doc martens. Moral to the story, ladies, if you’re like me and a true 8.5, get the 8s!! In my opinion, the 8 fits like an 8.5. I’m not sure if the pictures really do it justice, but figured maybe it would help someone to see both sizes. PS, I purchased both the tan and the black ones. They’re beyond comfortable and required no break in time for me. Definitely my new favorite shoes!! The next doc martens I get are going to be the Mary Jane’s! ... show more

My review couldn’t post the first time because it somehow violated Amazon guidelines, even though it was polite and professional. I’ll try again… I received two different styles of shoes. The left foot is the style I ordered, and the right foot is different. Returning and hopeful for a matching pair this time. Will update later, if I am able to get a matching pair. I initially rated as a 1. Updated: The seller shipped a new pair, and they are perfect! Super comfortable, authentic Doc Martens. I will note that I’m a 7.5 and the 8’s fit perfectly! I wore them today teaching for 8 hours, had no foot pain or break in period, received compliments, and have zero complaints!! LOVE them. These are not as heavy as other dr marten shoes. They are comfortable to wear throughout the day but you need to keep up with cleaning them otherwise they start to look faded

I was looking for Doc Martens for my husband and these came up in my search. I need a pair of slides so I decided to give it a try. Initially these are pretty comfortable. After wearing them around for a few hours running errands they weren't as comfortable anymore. I just won't be usung these if im on my feet a lot. I feel like you can dress up or down with these. I ordered these in a men’s 7 8 in women’s. I wear a 8 and they were small. These do run a bit small so size up. I had to reorder mine unfortunately the price went up $9 😅

Why are they used ? Came cracked, scratched, dirty, not with original stuffing, and pet hair…. And cracks. I know this isn’t proper because I literally just bought a size smaller and it was BEAUTIFUL and packaged perfectly. This is NOTTTTT

    • W8M7 fit exact length as women’s sandals, I own several pairs.
The length fit exactly like how the open toe sandals fit but don’t squash my toes because the toe box width is great. They’re lighter than the regular platforms and the straps are a bonus for when they loosen. I love that I can wear them with long pants and they pass for flats and the style look dressy.
