These boots are fantastic, but make sure to measure your feet before ordering! I HAD TO SIZE DOWN. I’m usually a size 8 women’s, but when the size 8 arrived, I could immediately tell that they were too large. I ordered a size 7, and they’re perfect. My best advice is to size down, but before you do, use the SIZING CHART - I wish I had to start! Copy and paste the name of this boot into google, and go on Doc Marten’s site. They’ll have a size chart in inches for the boot size. I found out that I’m a 7 in DM simply because the size 7 is 9.88 inches, 8 is 10.21 inches, and my feet using a ruler measure in at 9.75 inches. I never wound have known if not for measuring and using the chart - as I always wear an 8 but here had to go with 7. ... show more

I started to send back because it was extremely tight trying to get on and I put my feet to the outside of the sole and saw that the shoe wasn’t too small as I assumed. So I started bending the shoe and had my grandson help me get it on and it was actually roomy for my size 7 so there will be plenty of room to put socks on with the shoe. I own another pair of lace up Doc Marten from 1993 and I have not worn them out and still trying. Let me say this IT IS WORTH THE MONEY BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING A QUALITY SHOE WHICH YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME WEARING THEM OUT BECAUSE THEY LAST FOREVER!!!! So when you read the reviews just know that there will always be someone complaining about this or that and since I have no pony in this race then I AM BEING COMPLETELY HONEST WITH YOU AND YOU WON’T GO WRONG BUYING ANY DOC MARTENS SHOE WEAR JUST GET YOUR REAL SHOE SIZE AND FIGHT TO GET THEM ON INITIALLY UNTIL THEY BREAK IN OR MINK OIL TO LOOSEN UP THE LEATHER BECAUSE YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!!! ... show more

I own 10 pairs of docs that I bought in the past two years.. not sure why I took so long to get these Chelsea quads but they are now my absolute favorite pair of docs ever!!! My Leona boots were my #1 fave but now these Chelsea’s will go everywhere with me 🤭 If you’re debating whether you should get this or not.. DO IT!!! Such good quality. I sized down from a 7 to a 6 and they fit once my foot is in, but very hard to get on and I will have to wear them a lot for them to wear in and be easier to get on

So happy with the purchase of these Martens.. I have done much review guessing my size and trying to figure out the right fit for me. I usually run a size 7 and ordered a 6. They fit great and are super trendy. I thought the high platform would be to much, but they are perfect. Boots took about 3 days to break in and now feel comfortable and is my first shoe choice since purchase.
